Biography
I have been where you are. As a family law attorney who solely focuses on family law, a child of divorce who grew up with my dad, a mother of two children who divorced and went through my own custody lawsuit, and a woman who is remarried and has two wonderful stepchildren, I have a unique perspective on divorce and custody that can only come from having lived it.
I am also an experienced attorney representing families in all areas of family law in Charlotte, NC, and Gastonia, NC, and Raleigh NC. And a partner attorney at the McIlveen Family Law Firm, which has offices in Charlotte, Gastonia, and Raleigh, NC. I represent families in North Carolina divorce, child custody, child support, post-separation support, alimony, equitable distribution, mediation, separation agreements, and more. I am a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law. And I frequently write articles for various publications, including the firm blog, website, and Twitter. You might have heard me on the radio or seen me on tv being interviewed in the media on various family law issues.

Great Attorney in every aspect
