Kelly has been licensed to practice law since 2007 and has focused solely on family law since that time. She graduated, cum laude, from the Campbell School of Law in 2007 in the top ten percent (10%) of her class. During her time at Campbell, Kelly was a Williston Scholar, assisting Professor Richard Lord in editing Williston on Contracts, a Teaching Scholar providing tutoring services to other law students, and a Campbell Law Review editor. Kelly is a certified family financial mediator and a volunteer guardian ad litem. Although Kelly was born and raised in West Virginia, she and her husband, Robert, have lived in North Carolina for 12 years. Kelly and Robert have a four year old son, Robbie, and two “Heinz57” rescue dogs, Alex and Charlie.
