An effective advocate

I was charged with reckless driving (81/50) in Fairfax county. After a very thorough initial consultation in which it was made clear the process, expectations and probable outcome I retained Nichols & Green. My charge was eventually reduced to a failure to obey highway sign traffic infraction. Eve...n though I am a practicing litigator I could not have achieved this result. The connections, experience and relationships Nichols & Green have are more than worth it.

Excellent job by Luke & Garrett

On February 20, 2015 in Fairfax County General District Court I had a hearing regarding a DWI, 1st charge, BAC of .15%. After my hearing, Garrett was able to have the court amend my charge from DWI 1st to a Reckless Driving conviction. Here is what the court sentenced me to: • 30 days in jail with... 30 days suspended, • A loss of license for 3 months with restrictions, • Unsupervised probation for 12 months, • A $150.00 fine plus $92.00 in court costs, • Enroll in VASAP. Worse case scenario would have been 10 days in jail, and a loss of license for one year, which would have resulted in my loss of job, and high fines & insurance rates for years to come... Excellent job by Nichols & Green!!!

Speeding Early in the Morning

I was caught speeding at 92 in a 55 at about 4 AM as I was rushing to visit a dying a relative. As a young, just out of college graduate who was out of state, I really didn't know a lot about the speeding process and how best to obtain a lawyer. After numerous calls, I chose Nicholls and Green due ...to the breadth of my initial case review with them and the amazing lengths they went to to work with me as a client. My charge was eventually reduced to 89 in a 55 for speeding, and I can safely say that's a wonderful outcome. I was only culpable for 250 dollars n fines and additional court costs, and I have Mr. Green to thank. Both Mr. Nicholls and Mr. Green were involved with my case, making sure to notify me of last minute changes due to inclement weather or other court issues both via email or phone calls when i was free, and making sure I had the right guidance in the matter. I was impressed with Mr. Green's ability especially to succinctly describe all requisite actions I needed to do to prepare for my case, as well as to coach me throughout the process as to what next best actions a person in my situation would need to do. His courtroom savvy the day of my hearing and his deft negotiating allowed me to retain a successful position at my current work and continue doing my charity work and outreach, something Mr. Green and I both share. Would strongly recommend Mr. Green again and again for anyone looking for a great traffic lawyer!

A great lawyer

I was charged for selling alcohol without checking the customer's ID. I came to Mr. Green from a friend's recommendation, and he's been fantastic. He was able to negotiate with the prosecutor and got them to drop the charge after I completed a class offered by the ABC. My charge was dropped as discu...ssed and I couldn't be happier. He only charged me a flat fee and it was reasonable. I'd totally recommend him to anyone seeking a lawyer for these out of nowhere charges.

Possession of marijuana

I had a possession charge of marijuana for an empty baggy that was found in my wallet. After staying clean, passing two drug tests, and doing 48 hours of community service, Mr. Green helped get my charge dismissed. He is an excellent , informative lawyer that definitely knows exactly what he is doing....
