I have successfully earned a reputation throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia and in the United States District Court as an outstanding advocate for my clients. Recognizing that no two cases are alike, I take pride in working one-on-one with my clients to achieve the best possible result for their particular legal issues. I am passionate about my client’s rights and take the time to investigate the evidence in each case. My goal is to give each and every client the personal attention and energy they deserve to achieve a positive outcome for their case.
Education
I attended Virginia Tech, where I studied Political Science, Sociology and History. While there, I served as President of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity and was an active member of the Virginia Tech chapters of Kappa Kappa Gamma and the American Civil Liberties Union.
I graduated from New York Law School in 2007. I received the Government Fellowship Award in 2005 and 2006 for my work in the public interest sector. While attending New York Law School, I focused my studies in criminal law and procedure under the guidance of practicing public defenders and district attorneys in New York and New Jersey.
Career
During law school, I gained hands-on criminal defense experience by clerking for the Honorable Rosemarie Annunziata, of the Virginia Court of Appeals, and the Honorable Robert W. Wooldridge, Jr., of the Fairfax County Circuit Court. I also clerked at the King’s County District Attorney’s Office and the Fairfax County Public Defender’s Office, where I represented clients on a variety of cases and assisted senior attorneys with pre-trial investigations, trial preparation and strategy and appeals.
Following law school, I volunteered as a pro bono attorney with Legal Services of Northern Virginia, where I successfully represented domestic violence victims in obtaining protective orders. In 2009, I joined the Law Offices of Patrick N. Anderson & Associates, PC as an associate focusing on criminal defense. While there, I advocated for and defended the rights of hundreds of clients charged with criminal and traffic offenses throughout Virginia. In 2013, I joined The Bugg Law Firm, PLLC as a senior associate and in 2015, I joined Naum Estevez PLLC when my practice expanded. While serving these firms, my knowledge and experience continued to grow.
In 2018, I joined The Irving Law Firm, PC , where I currently represent clients in all jurisdictions throughout Northern Virginia. My defense experience has resulted in the successful resolution of matters including: Manslaughter, Malicious Wounding, Sex Offenses, Narcotics offenses, Prescription Fraud cases, Financial crimes, Child Support Enforcement, Juvenile crimes, serious traffic matters and a variety of other misdemeanor and felony offenses.
