Attorney Hartt was very helpful to me during my case. I had a sense of confidence and relieve the first day I spoke with him over the phone. He is very easy to talk to.He guided me on what to do and what not to do during my case, something I couldn't have done without him. He was always prompt and on... time during our meetings which greatly helped in the success of my case. He knew the type of documents to submit which helped the case to move faster than I expected. Will definitely recommend him to anyone I come across who needs legal help.

Mr. Hartt apologized to me REPEATEDLY for his poor performance- Mr. Hartt apologized to me for failing to return numerous phone calls and emails from me, which led to increased stress for me with no information on the status of my case or feedback. After agreeing to represent me at the unemploymen...t hearing, first in person and then by telephone, Mr. Hartt made excuses for failing to show up for my unemployment hearing, and apologized for failing to make any arrangements with the judge/hearing officer to attend telephonically--which angered the judge who threatened another postponement of my case. Mr. Hartt also apologized to me for failing to prepare my expert witness properly in advance, resulting in the witness angrily remarking that my own preparation of him exceeded the preparation of his testimony by Attorney Hartt. When speaking to me about my attempts to get an update on the status of the case from him, my opinion was that his primary concern was for preserving his relationships with the Division staff, and whether my inquiries to the Division--which were made because of his lack of response to my calls & emails--had impacted his relationship with them. In summary, I am not impressed by an attorney who has disappointed me in the areas of client responsiveness, and witness preparation, and task follow-through, and keeping me informed, who then offers excuses and apologies while asking for more/repeat business...I think not!
