If anyone is ever in need of an attorney, DO NOT under any circimstances go to Bukh & Associates Law Firm or Yuliya Vangorodska, P.C. They are the same firm. There are two office locations, 1123 Avenue Z, Brooklyn, NY and 14 Wall Street, New York, NY (Bukh Law Firm P.C.). I came to this law office seeking services of a divorce attorney. They claimed to be divorce attorneys who have a lot of experience in this. In no way they are divorce attorneys and especially not experienced. They do not respond to calls or emails. They consistently and repeatedly fail to communicate. At times I waited for a week for them to get back to me. When they do respond, they avoid questions asked and talk about nonsense that does not address anything. They say they filed papers in court and I find out months later that it was never done. They failed to take action when it was absolutely necessary. Confronting them is useless because they are always full of excuses as to why something wasn't done and on time. I never had one attorney handling my case. There was always a different attorney at each court date, criminal attorney, immigration attorney, etc. Everyone but a divorce or family attorney. The whole staff is incompetent, from the secretary and paralegals to the attorneys, including Arkady Bukh himself. This law office does not employ attorneys that are capable of handling your legal matters competently. They are only good for extorting money and lying to clients. These people are a poor excuse for an attorney. Complaint was already filed with the Bar Association. Just wanted to let everyone know what horrible experience I had with this law firm.

Arkady helped me solve my New York parole violation while I was one foot back in Upstate. He got all the paperwork in the world and prepared such a strong argument that the hearing simply could not go wrong. No doubt I got a very stiff warning - need to be on an alert next time. That said, I totally recommend Bukh Law Firm to take care of parole legal work (I am sure they have staff to handle any type of criminal case though). Thumb up!

I hired Mr.Bukh because he promised me that the case will not cost me more than $6,000 - unless it goes to trial. He said the same exact this about my second case. He immediately assigned my cases to his associate, who was the worst attorney imaginable. Right away Mr.Bukh's people started calling me daily to "remind me to submit documents" even though there was zero need for that, and he started charging me for every such call. When my fees reached and went WAY over the promised $6,000, i started asking questions, and he vigorously denied what he promised me. He even has a whole position - a guy who is trained to deny everything. When I confronted him about eh excessive fees, he simply dropped my two cases in the middle. He even managed to remove my reviews. When I kept posting the truth about him, he offered a tiny refund on my fees, Guess what - he lied about the, too. This guy's operation is designed to cheat and to manipulate and to get as much $ from you as humanly possible. He clearly doesn't care about your case, he can just drop it - even though I paid over $9,000 instead of the promised $6,000. SHAME
For some reason all the bad reviews about this guy were denied by Avvo.com - you can still see them if you find the right link. He managed to scam even this web site.

Thumb up for Arkady Bukh! Got involved into a light DWI case, but I wanted to preserve my record crystal clear. The legal aid lawyer was only able to get a plea deal that would mean skipping jail, but failing with criminal record. Arkady seemed to be way out of my reach financially, but they gave me a payment plan that I followed. The prosecution was very concerned with my new counsel, and soon they changed the offer. My record remained clean, which means the employer will not have any second thoughts. Great job!

Arkady Bukh was recommended by one of mates who had a positive experience with this lawyer. After Arkady represented me in court, I can only resonance these words.
My case was a second time DUI. I was put to comfort knowing I was in good hands. I had complete understanding of what was going on. The lawyers were very amicable and easy to talk to. I was really pleased with the result. I am sure Arkady is a top of the notch lawyer, and would love to recommend his services to anyone in need of quality criminal defense.

Arkady Bukh has just proved he is not just a media guy, but is also a law guy! My 18 (b) lawyer - who is actually is just of the federal defenders - just wasted 3 months of my precious time ignoring my prison calls and being constantly late for court appearance. With Arkady, the first appearance was actually the last appearance, the case was tossed and dismissed. I can recommend these people to everyone coming through some grey days in their lives.

Arkady is really a jaw-dropping lawyer. I was referred to the law office by my sister who had previously beaten her criminal charges. I myself faced an obstruction of justice charge with a Federal indictment supposedly coming my way. However, thanks to Arkady's connections and experience he was able to negotiate. As a result, I could settle out of court and avoid lengthy proceedings and even prison time. I would certainly take my time and recommend Arkady Bukh to anyone seeking a very professional criminal defense counselor. Thumb up!

Arkady is not a typical criminal lawyer from Brooklyn who enthusiastically collects the retainer check and disappears leaving you with a a junior associate or a paralegal. He was actually in court with me (did not miss the schedule) to fight the case. The prosecutor was very concerned when he found out who my defender was. Eventually, I got a call from the office with the news that my case was downgraded to a very minor misdemeanor. Thank you, Ark!

Arkady has lots of experience in any type of credit card case. My son was accused of stealing cards and attempting to make use of them in the ATMs. This could put him away for more than a few years. I read about Arkady in the media that covered one of the fraud cases in Queens. I had a pleasure of personally talking to him, and he immediately won my trust. Indeed, I had no financial strength to pay for the trial. But the cases ended abruptly without going to trial. My son was sentenced to time served. Great job!

Arkady took a case of my son while he was in custody in Europe waiting for extradition to the U.S. We were basically in despair, because there was no one AT ALL on our side, nor anyone could explain to us what really was happening. Arkady got in touch, and I immediately knew there was light in the end of the tunnel. He seemed so professional and knowledgeable, and also sympathetic to our situation. In fact, he did a significant discount due to our difficult financials. The case took about 2 years to result in a time served verdict. My son is now in Immigration custody, and guess what Arkady is making this happen once again - we were just alerted our son would be put on a plane any time next week! This is brilliant.
