My firm specializes in civil and criminal litigation & appeals.
The majority of my practice consists of representing clients in criminal matters, including felonies & misdemeanor charges of robbery, burglary, assault, possession/sale of narcotics, DWI/Aggravated DWI and other traffic infractions. As a result, my firm also handles several areas of civil matters intertwined with many criminal matters such as, torts; civil rights; contracts; family law; intellectual property; and personal injury.
I am a former Adjunct Professor of Law for Westchester Community College, where I taught a Business Law class focused on the foundations of law, intellectual property, contracts and negligence.
In 2013 & 2014, I was a judicial nominee for the Bronx Civil & Supreme Court.
In 2015, I was nominated to run for the Office of the Bronx District Attorney.
I have published several articles for online forums such as American Express OPEN, StarPolish and Inspiyr and have participated as a speaker in several New York CLE programs about criminal trials, motions and the psychology of jury selection, and how criminal matters relate to civil actions.
As a former Court Attorney for the Appellate Division Second Department, I worked on over 100 criminal and civil appeals, writing confidential memoranda, including slip opinions, for the Honorable Justices of the Court.
As Special Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York, I was a trial attorney for the Administration for Children's Services, prosecuting neglect and abuse cases.
