Success with Ivan Raevski

Hello dear review readers . I know this lawyer for many years. I'd like to be sincere and honest in my review, my believes does not allow me to deceive or be not honest in favor of someone or something. I had case , on which Ivan worked. He proposed me several options to resolve it (it was little com...plicated, it is private, and i don't like to share it, sorry for that ), and also after long conversations and few visits, he helped me to make right decision. It means that Ivan really educated, with enough patience, lawyer who knows how correctly to understand the client's situation. I have no idea why he has some negative reviews, but I'd rate him 10 out 5 if it could be possible. I paid him once for that case, he resolve my problem thank Allah at first and then thank you Ivan, job very well done. After that,during several years , whenever i had questions or i was in need of consultation he would give me over the phone for no coast, of course if it was just not really complicated case. Very Disappointed

Mr. Ivan should file my chapter 7 or Bankcrupty application but he did not file. I paid him total $1838($1500 attorney fees and $338 court filing fees) to file my bankruptcy application but he never worked on my case. First two months he responded to my emails but after that he stopped communicating ...with me. I even called his office and left messages to his staff but no response. He took my money and did nothing. I kept calling and sending him emails every day but have not heard back. However, I ended up filling my chapter 7 petition by myself as I could not afford the lawyer fees. So, he was dishonest and never performed his obligations. I will never recommend him to anyone. Normally, I don’t like leaving negative comments anywhere but he was so dishonest with me that’s why I had to leave and don’t want another pp to go through what I went through in the past. Thanks!

I normally don't like to leave negative reviews anywhere, but I just came across Mr. Raevski's profile on Avvo today and surprised to find all the positive reviews for him, so I decided to share my experience here. I hired him for uncontested divorce a couple of years back, for $1000, he only briefly... reviewed the settlement agreement drafted by my ex's attorney without giving any constructive recommendations, which turned out to be totally at my disadvantage. He didn't show up in court hearing to represent me either. I will never use his service again.

I do not believe this is an actual client. First of all, there have not been in person court hearings in late 2020 due to COVID, everything was done via remote appearance so showing up in court was not an option, so the reviewer is certainly confused. Secondly, nobody does divorces for $1.000.00 so I believe the reviewer is talking about a paralegal service or some other attorney.

Divorce and child custody

The Best Attorney to deal with, Mr. Raevski really helped me with my divorce case and I got my child custody as was best for my child. I will always have him as my family lawyer for any future consulting or cases if I need one.

I went for a free consultation with Ivan about my debts. He explained all my options really well. Now I am in the process of retaining him for a ch 7 bankruptcy as it seems like the best option for me.
