About me

I am fortunate to have had a rigorous legal education and varied legal career that form an excellent foundation from which I practice.  I represent my clients the way I would want to be represented and do my best to communcate promptly, well and often so each step of the process is understood.   I pride myself on doing my very best for my clients and getting them through the legal process efficiently and as painlessly as possible.  In addition to being an attorney, I am also a mother to my 12 year old boy and 10 year old girl.  My husband and I have been married for 15 years, and live in Washington Township, close to my law office. I love to read, run and hike with my 2 dogs, both sweet rescues, a massive St. Bernard and a Pug/Terrier mix.  We also have 2 cats and fish, so our house is at its capacity, as I often remind my children.  I really enjoy getting to know my clients and helping them achieve their legal objectives the best way possible, both financially and emotionally.

  • Ronald Lee Burdge

I endorse this lawyer. Helen graduated from one of the very top notch law schools in the country and gained valuable experience from her work at the DOJ in Washington. She's seen both sides of cases too, from her work at legal aid and also the prosecutor's office. And she has a great way of communicating with her clients too, which you can see from her published Avvo Legal Guides. With years of experience behind her in Family Law, Bankruptcy Law, Criminal Law and other areas too - she is one of the few attorneys who can really call themselves an experienced General Practice attorney. And, having worked in a GP firm, I can tell you that it's a lot tougher to be a GP attorney than most people realize. If you need help in any of her areas of law, and her office is anywhere near you, I highly recommend her to you.
