About Me

I am one of the few Board Certifed Criminal Trial attorneys in Florida.  Board Certified lawyers’ experience and competency have been rigorously evaluated, and they are the only Florida lawyers allowed to refer to themselves as ‘specialists’ or ‘experts’ when referring to their legal credentials. Board Certified lawyers have met the Florida Bar’s highest standards for special knowledge, skills and proficiency in various areas of law, and professionalism and ethics in the practice of law.  Certification is the Florida Bar’s highest level of evaluation of the competence and experience of attorneys in the 24 areas of law approved for certification by the Supreme Court of Florida.

With over 6 years of service as a State Prosecutor in both Pinellas and Collier Counties, I have the experience to evaluate, investigate, and defend your case.  When choosing a criminal defense attorney, nothing can substitute trial experience.  I have the perspective and insight of someone who has practiced exclusively in criminal legal matters for 14 years, on both sides of the courtroom, handling thousands of felony cases.
