Lost Appeal

I hired Attorney Enochs after my employer contested my unemployment compensation and won. The initial appointment was rushed and he seemed more interested in having me pursue a wrongful termination case yet I assumed he was just trying to help me. During the time he represented me in this appeal he... did little research and requested scant documents to help win my appeal. Again his resistant request was for me to pay the fees for him to request my employee file and initiate the wrongful termination lawsuit. When I told him that I was not prepared to pursue that suit just yet he became disinterested and let my appeal fall through the cracks and we lost the appeal. At the initial appointment Randy did advise me that he has represented my employer in fighting unemployment claims and that if anyone could win my appeal it would be him. In hindsight I should have seen this as a conflict of interest for him as.

I do not have enough information to identify this reviewer to adequately respond to the allegations and representations made. I would invite this reviewer to contact me to address these issues as I suspect this may be a very old case. I do, however, adamantly deny that the representations made are remotely characteristic of me and my work as evidenced by my other reviews and the numerous results I have gotten over the years. I always do my utmost to get results for clients and sometimes things get lost in translation. I always perform conflicts checks and would not represent someone against a former client, nor would I make any statement to the effect that I am the only one who can win an appeal. With appeals to LIRC on unemployment claims, the issues are extremely limited and limited to whether the ALJ's decision was flawed. It is not a chance to re-litigate a case. Thus, this reviewer is wrong about my requesting "scant documents." The reviewer also does not know what research I conducted as that is performed at my office on my computer. It is unfortunate if this reviewer did indeed lose their appeal, but the vast majority of appeals to LIRC are not successful and I am mindful to inform people of this so they make the most informed decision about whether to pay fees and pursue an appeal.

Attorney Randy T. Enoch

Mr. Enoch was thorough, well spoken and explained things to me as we went along. He was very "to the point," which I like. No extra fluff. He handled things, ie: paperwork, professionally and in a timely manner.

Problem Solver

Mr Enoch was actually retained by my son who, unfortunately, passed away before his case was resolved. Mr Enoch could have just given up and let the case drop but he continued on in hopes we could secure a settlement on behalf of my grandsons. His research, tenacity and aggressive pursuit of justic...e for my son resulted in a settlement that we both felt was fair and allowed for some education funds to be put away for the boys. I appreciated his sensitivity and caring during a very difficult time for my family and highly recommend him to you

Helped Me Win A Case Most People Don't Win

I hired Randy Enochs as my lawyer for an unemployment over-payment and concealment case. From what I previously learned about these cases was that it was common for the concealment charges to be removed but as a penalty it was very rare for the state to re-calculate over-payment leaving you to pay ba...ck the entire amount of unemployment wages you were given by the state. In my case it was thousands of dollars that I did not have. Randy was able to help me win all cases in this matter and it was decided that I did not purposely conceal and the state actually recalculated all over-payment charges saving me over $8,000 in the penalties the state had declared I owed for concealment. He is very professional and puts undivided attention and time into learning all about your case to prepare both you and himself for the actual court date. I could not be happier with my decision to have Randy represent me and I would recommend him to anyone dealing with similar cases or any case for that matter.

Successful Decision

Attorney Enochs was successfully able to defend our firm from a frivolous lawsuit that eventually was dismissed. He was very professional and thorough in his handling of our case and communication was key. I highly recommend Attorney Enochs and will continue to utilize his service.
