Where do I begin and how do I thank a legal team that forever altered the course of my life? It is difficult to put into words what Aaron Halstead and Matt Robles did for me and how they successfully closed a very difficult and negative chapter in my life. I was wrongfully terminated sixteen days after returning to work from a serious worker’s compensation injury by my employer of over ten years, and I had no idea if there were any legal options available to me. After doing all that I could with my former employer to rectify the termination and be reinstated, I was left in a situation that I didn’t know if things would ever be made right. After researching worker’s compensation attorneys in Madison, I decided to call their office, present the facts, and inquire if I even had a case. They promptly reviewed the information, accepted my case, and began working diligently on my behalf. Thirteen and a half months after first walking into their office, I received notification from the DWD that I had won my worker’s compensation hearing, and that the Judge ordered my former company to pay me a year’s wages. We went through two hearings in the process, and I can’t say enough great things about their legal strategy, preparation, and determination to win for me. Aaron and Matt are not only fantastic attorneys, but they are wonderful people who will fight for the truth. Their paralegal, Armando Veizaga, also helped in my case, and he was a tremendous asset to their team. Many thanks to this great group of skilled and compassionate people who truly changed the course of my life.

I was recently discharged from employment after 34 years of service. I didn't know where to turn and Aaron was recommended to me. I don't live near Madison, and thought I would need to travel to his office. I was pleasantly surprised that everything could be handled by phone and email. He listened to the details of my concerns, he responded to my emails promptly and followed up if necessary with phone calls. He was honest and showed concern for me, without leading me to believe there was a huge settlement awaiting me. Once informing me of what to expect, he went to work to get me a settlement beyond what I could have hoped for. I would recommend him to people in a similar situation. I am very appreciative of the work he did for me.

I found Aaron very considerate and answered all my questions promptly. If I didn't understand something he took time to explain it. I felt confident with Aaron representing me as he made lemonade out of lemons. I highly recommend Aaron and his staff.

Aaron is an incredible reliable, knowledgeable and hard-working attorney that I often consult with on labor and employment matters, and, on occasion, worker's compensation matters (I don't handle many worker's comp matters). In addition to being a great attorney, Aaron is also very friendly, helpful and passionate about his work and his clients.
