Mr. Hart…First I want to say thank Mr. Hart for all of your support! I have a brother who has been in trouble before; he had an attorney prior to Mr. Hart. The prior attorney made some major mistakes and admitted; they wrote a letter to the court and provide us with a new lawyer. If any family know...s the legal system is a mess and can be very confusing and people not carrying. It is so sad we can call the police and say someone did something, and next you have 10 new charges and your love one is locked up for 10 charges when they only really did one. Brent was mindful about legal costs on our behalf. He arranged to have a letter, written in Chinese, translated at no cost, even though we thought Google Translator was sufficient. He corresponded with us via e-mail on several occasions, as needed to gather more information leading up to our court date. Brent arranged with the opposing attorney to accept electronic service (by e-mail), which eliminated the need to have a service processor/courier serve the documents personally; all to save us money. Brent did a fantastic job presenting our case to the court. We could not have done what he did. His demeanor was very professional. He was polite and well-spoken and kept his calm, even during tense situations. He was articulate in explaining the circumstances of our case to the court, as it related to the law.
