An experienced and compassionate defense attorney - Brit Mercer was a true lifesaver during one of the most stressful times in my life. I was facing a domestic violence–related case involving a restraining order violation, and I felt completely overwhelmed. From the very first conversation, Brit made...

I hired Brit as the victim in a domestic violence case, and she was incredibly understanding, attentive, and truly advocated for me — and only me. It was a felony case, and even though I was the victim, she achieved the best possible outcome for me. Again, the best result. She is a highly capable att...

Brit is simply all-around amazing! Not only is she professional and empathetic, but she is uniquely approachable. Working with her felt like working with a friend who happens to be a spitfire attorney. Brit was exceptional at preparing for court before, during, and after. I was able to breathe a sigh...

Brit Mercer is the best at what she does hands down! I could not speak more highly of her professionalism and ability to navigate the legal system. After I hired her, I always felt she took personal pride in my case and saw that she did for her other cases as well.
"I have known Briteney for several years & have the utmost respect for her. She is extremely knowledgeable, and thought of very highly by judges, prosecutors, and the defense bar. While she often handles terribly difficult cases, she routinely manages to reach outstanding resolutions. She is the ultimate professional and fights for each and every one of her clients. I highly endorse her."
"Brit is the definition of a no-nonsense advocate. She takes her work, and thus your case, very seriously and absolutely will not stand for anything other than justice in your case. Brit is not only keeps herself current with the state of the law, but she helps to form the state of the law. Whether a case is hers or not, she often joins in cases on appeal to provide the court with more information in order to make an just decision. Brit is a great advocate to have in your corner!"
"Ms. Mercer is a very experienced attorney who often contributes to very complicated areas of the law on AVVO."
"Brit gets my highest endorsement. I had the chance to work with her in connection with a case involving a teenager. Brit quickly established trust with the young client, and she navigated exceptionally well the sometimes complicated interactions involving the client’s parents. Ultimately, she obtained a creative and extraordinary result short of trial—the sort of outcome that as a lawyer I recognize came as a result of her legal expertise and credibility as a lawyer, as well as her knowledge of the bench, the prosecutor’s office staff and the various law enforcement personnel involved."
"Brit is a fierce advocate who gets great results for her clients. She is smart, hard working, and her clients love her. I endorse her work without hesitation."
"I endorse this lawyer without reservation. I regularly recommend Briteney to others based on her combination os compassion and high level legal competence. She is a strong advocate and obtains excellent results for her clients."
"I endorse this lawyer. Briteney is an excellent attorney. She is intelligent, articulate, and very persuasive as she fights hard to get great results for her clients i.e. dismissals, reductions, not guiltys. She is well-liked and personable and she has great rapport with judges, prosecutors and defense attorneys. Her courtroom skills and negotiation skills are among the best. I recommend her without reservation."
"Brit is an outstanding attorney and represents her clients with both skill and zealous advocacy. Her clients are always very well served."
"I have worked with Brit as opposing counsel on many occasions and found her to be a smart, savvy opponent. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent advocate for their case."
"Brit is one of those hard-nosed litigators that prosecutors dread. As a fellow attorney, I can say that she is on my short-list of lawyers that I would allow to represent me if I ever need legal help."
"As a prosecutor for the King County Proscutor's Office I handled a case in which Briteney was opposing counsel. Briteney struck me as a very caring and zealous advocate for her client. She met with me frequently to discuss the case and was always prepared and well-versed on both the facts of the case and the applicable law. Briteney has a natural ability to be persuasive without being overly aggressive. I have little doubt that she will continue to get outstanding results for her clients and would recommend her without reservation to anyone seeking legal representation on a criminal matter."
