Attorney Rebecca Thorley began her legal career at one of London’s leading criminal defense firms, where she gained valuable trial experience working on serious felonies, such as Murder, Fraud, Drug Crimes, and Robbery. She then focused on juvenile law for several years and gained media recognition for defending children with antisocial behavior disorders.
Rebecca moved to Washington State in 2010. After passing the state bar exam, she worked with two criminal defense forms that specialized in DUI cases. In 2013, she founded Thorley Defense Law and handles misdemeanor and felony criminal charges, as well as immigration, crimmigration, and personal injury matters.

Rebecca is just amazing! She is the best at responding emails and messages. In addition, she is a very knowledgeable attorney. She helped me with my citizenship interview. Profissional and Perseverance.

I am so grateful for her hard work, dedication, and professionalism. I hired Rebecca not knowing what to expect but she was always willing to listen and showed a magnificent knowledge of the Law. She was always on time and responded to all my emails even on the weekends. You need to hire a lawyer who believes in you and does not treat you just like a number on a file. Incredible, smart, comforting...I could go on!

I have never had legal issues in my life..Im 52...Rebecca walked me through everything more than once and was always available to answer my questions. Text, phone and/or video. A lawyer that truly cares. Very down to earth person.

First of all I would like to thank Atty. Becky for helping me out and got my case dismissed. I appreciate her for answering all my questions/concerns and that really helps me a lot to lessen my worries. For being open and communicative whenever I call or message her in times I am troubled. I like how considerate she is when it comes for then mode of payment and gave me a long period of time to pay. When it comes to the case, I really appreciate the updates when something comes up and it’s very detailed. The way she really communicates to the prosecutors and gives her best. Excellent Defence

Excellent Attorney!

My I-485 was denied and in a panic I contacted Becky and she really put my mind at ease! After looking at the denial letter from USCIS we came to know that they had requested further evidence and since we did not reply to the RFE the petition was denied. Unfortunately, even though I had contacted the USCIS numerous times about my case after my interview we still had to send in a Motion Of Appeal. Becky helped me address all their concerns in depth and made sure all grounds were covered. My green card was approved and sent within the month. I’m so glad I got in contact with her. She’s one of the most compassionate, down to earth lawyers I know. Highly recommend!!!

Incredible and Experienced Attorney

Rebecca "Becki" is such a compassionate and an excellent lawyer. I had a consultation with her regarding my case during the most frustrated moment of my life here in the United States. I am an immigrant and do not know her. During the consultation, Becki explained her approach towards the case. She was patience and friendly. I consulted with other lawyers in the past but Becki is one of a few who practices empathy and goes beyond her way to help her clients. She is experienced in both criminal defense and immigration law. Becki is always responsive to my questions. After I hired her as my attorney, she explained the process in details and understood my concerns. She provided guidance of what I should do. Knowledgeable and empathetic!

Rebecca was the third lawyer I spoke to about my case to remove the conditions on my permanent residency. She is extremely down to earth and her expertise made me feel comfortable and confident that she was the right person to help me through the process. Rebecca was always quick to respond to frantic messages with the perfect balance of knowledge and humanness. Rebecca has been through the US immigration process herself and knows the law inside out, she goes above and beyond for her clients and I can't recommend her enough. Do not expect any beating around the bush or time wasting, Rebecca will get straight to the point and get the job done. In the current administration I was extremely nervous about my immigration case but I managed to get the conditions on my green card removed without having to be through the interview process again! Best Lawyer Around!

I met with Rebecca during a very stressful time and I needed a very good attorney for my legal troubles. I knew right off the bat that I would be hiring her. She has a very calming way about her. The court process can be very long and antimidating. She walked me through everything and went over every different outcome possible. She took the time to actually listen to me and I could tell she really did care. I never felt like a number to her. When my anxiety was getting out of control, she knew exactly what to say and do to calm me down. I guess I kind of got a lawyer and counselor in one! I know I met Rebecca under very bad circumstances but I am so thankful to her. She truly is one of the good ones! I cannot thank her enough.

Great immigration lawyer

Very knowledgeable and thoughtful. She was there with my partner and I in every step of the way. Answered all of our questions, reviewed and submitted our files on our behalf. She was very responsive as well. Even though she wasn't able to be at the interview with us, she took the time to prep us for the interview from the other side of the world. I received my green card in hand within days of the interview!

Outstanding and thumbs up!!

Rebecca Thorley and Christopher Brester were both amazing!! They both were very professional and super helpful, kept me posted at all times. Answered all my questions and gave me realistic expectations of what to expect. A car in a parking lot hit me and it was a scary experience. They were by me the whole time checking on my progress till the end. Rebecca made sure I was taken care of mentally and physically through the whole ordeal. She allowed me to focus on my rehab and recovery. I must say I am super happy with the outcome. If anytime I needed them I would hire them back. I have already recommended them to friends and family.
