Very helpful and solid advisor

Michael provide solid advice and guidance as I looked to appeal my property tax assessment value determined by the county. Although his expertise lies in a slightly different field and was not able to represent me in the case, he provided timely guidance to help me build a strong case for the appeal.... I am very happy with the outcome which I don't think I could have had achieved without his in-depth knowledge and guidance.

Rude communication style

Didn't actually read the email describing the case and wanted to set up an appointment weeks in the future with a rude and condescending manner. It turned out they actually don't handle these cases. Total waste of time. Needs to learn to listen.

Anonymous, thank you for your comment. As an initial matter, it is ironic that you mention "rude communication style" and "rude and condescending manner." Your own comment states, "Needs to learn to listen." Your comment is not rude? Not condescending? Not rude communication style? Equally important, your comment leaves out several crucial facts. Those facts actually show your lack of professionalism, your misrepresentation of the events, and your unjustified sense of entitlement. Here are those facts. First, you emailed me on May 8, 2023, at 6:23 (PST). The next day, May 9, I replied to your email requesting additional information so we can review it to determine whether or not we can help you. You ignored my email for nearly three months. Your communication style is not rude? Not unprofessional? Yet, despite your lack of professionalism, I still went ahead to propose a time to discuss your case with you. The proposed appointment was 12 days away, not "weeks" as you alleged. Second, nowhere in any of our communications to you did we say that we did not handle your type of legal matter. In fact, we do handle such matters, as stated clearly on our website. Not sure why you did not read it. Three, in your next to last email to me, on July 27, 2023, you asked me for a guarantee of success on your case and whether or not we were willing to take it on. I replied to you on the same day, stating that the law does not allow any lawyer to guarantee success on any case. I also informed you that given the circumstances, your matter is not a good fit for us. We suggested that you immediately contact another attorney to help you. Finally, we wished you all the best. You replied to me on the same day but not in kind words. Quite interestingly, almost immediately after you emailed me, you posted your comment on Avvo, just to get back at me for not taking on your case. Wow! Unjustified sense of entitlement?

Best legal call!

I haven't really had any experience with calling legal to discuss on a situation before.. Through my Employer legal plan, I reached out to several firms and spoke to many. I have to admit Michael was easily the best that I spoke to. He explained the situation and my options in detail that even a ...'non-legal' person like me can understand, took his time instead of rushing, and more than anything provided the best service that made me super comfortable talking to him. While I couldn't and haven't used the legal options, based on my 20-30 min call with him, he seemed extremely knowledgeable and highly recommend him for legal services.

Awesome service and support

Michael was very attentive to my dispute with a prior Landlord since the first call. He is very busy and very organized. All the times that we pursued to talk were followed as expected, and after his initial consultation we decided to proceed with a lawyer representation to formalize the dispute with... the Landlord. Apparently his approach was very effective and we obtained a quick agreement with the landlord's lawyer representatives, getting the outcome that we expected for, without having to escalate the case to small court. Our family was very happy to working with Michael, and while we hope we don't need a lawyer too soon, Michael will be always on the top of our list to call first. Thank you!
