I found Michael through my company's legal plan. When my partner and I moved out of our apartment, we were charged what we thought to be unfair amounts for cleaning and repairs. From online research we also figured out that our landlord did not follow the law when we first applied for a lease. We especially appreciated him covering: - a responsibility that our landord failed to fulfill, that we had missed - which points of dispute were more straightforward to prove vs subjective - strategy for negotiating - costs and risks of going to small claims Wanting to avoid the legal process, we opted to write an informal letter (short of a demand letter) to our landlord. Happily this was enough and our landlord removed all the charges and a little more. Michael's experience with these sorts of matters was instrumental in us getting a great outcome. The only thing I would change is to perhaps use video conferencing software or a good phone mic because the audio was a little unclear for me during the phone call, and there is a lot of information presented which you don't want to miss.

I spoke with Michael last year regarding a CP2000 notice I had received. While he was professional and asked what seemed like the right questions, his ultimate advice was for me to visit a local IRS office. A year later, I engaged a different firm that clearly explained the proper process for hand...ling underpayment issues with the IRS. It turns out the entire process is automated, and the suggestion to visit the IRS in person was not only unnecessary but ultimately incorrect. As a result, my case was delayed significantly, and I’ve now incurred over $20,000 in interest. Although Michael was courteous and professional, his guidance reflected a lack of understanding of how the IRS actually operates. Proceed with caution.

Michael advised me through the process of negotiating credit card debt with the collection agencies hired by two credit card companies. He gave me very specific instructions as to when to call during the week (a lesson in human psychology), and how I should start the negotiation. I forwarded all co...mmunications to Michael, and he was very responsive to all of my inquiries. Between two different collection agencies, I was able to settle the obligation for 28% of what was originally owed. Michael's advice and guidance saved me thousands of dollars!!!
