Through her involvement, she strives to diversify the legal profession, to build an educational pipeline into the future, and to empower individuals to become a more constitutionally-literate citizenry. She has been recognized by organizations such as Women Lawyers of Sacramento for her efforts in the community in encouraging young women to challenge themselves to excellence.
