Biography
I have been practicing Family Law for over 20 years and have been published in two major appellate cases concerning Family Law issues. My expertise in Family Law is well documented.
I am well versed in all aspects of Family Law. I continue to lecture on Family Law issues to fellow colleges as well as mentoring several attorneys.
I have also been actively involved in Sacramento concerning Family Law issues. I was on the committee that wrote the current Family Code concerning drug abuse and children in Family Court.
I have lobbied on issues of child support, spousal support, custody, and domestic violence issues in Sacramento.
My goal has always been to protect our children so they grow up to be the best they can be. That can only happen by reforming our current Family Law Courts.

Very helpful lawyer and kind person.
He prepared a agreement between my husband and me for a gift money from my parents. Very quick response and clear statement. He also taught me how to sign it to make it legal. Very patient and in detail. Great lawyer ever!

Save yourself from this horrible "attorney"!!!!
All I can say is you get what you pay for. He is a terrible attorney. He kept postponing the hearings and at our final hearing he just pretty much sat there and mumbled. He was outlawyered by some Christian attorney that does adoptions, rarely family law cases. I would seriously avoid this guy at all...

Legal Separation
Mr. Montgomery is an excellent lawyer. He has represented me in a Legal Separation case. I am comfortable that he knows the law and how to apply it. He explains court proceedings and possible outcomes clearly. I would recommend him to anyone.

Terrible terrible!! Will take your money and do NOTHING!
Terrible lawyer!!! Kept calling, calls were unanswered for days. He would be told one thing and he would do another just so he could bill for more hours when court dates would get postponed going against what was wanted. Never informed me or asked me before he made a decision. Do not deal with this ...
