Barry Brandt

A certified family law attorney, mediation services have been an important component of Barry Brandt's law practice for more than 30 years of his distinguished 40-year legal career. Barry Brandt has been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the State Courts of California and Connecticut. He has concentrated on personal injury law, family law, real estate and municipal law (including land use litigation) and has been the lead counsel in a number of major cases in those fields. He has experience as a divorce lawyer that includes alimony, child support, child custody and complex property settlement agreements. In fact, he was one of the first attorneys to be certified as a Family Law Specialist, a designation earned by less than 1% of the bar.

Barry served for four years as a US Air Force Judge Advocate and is a past president of the Western San Bernardino County Bar Association. He also served 13 years as a member of the Upland School District Board.

As chairman of the Capital Campaign of the Scheu Family YMCA, he has overseen the raising of $10,000,000. At the Y, he continues to play basketball and coach youth basketball teams. Both his sons, Brian and Brendan, have followed suit and are highly regarded attorneys in the Inland Empire.

Among Barry's past affiliations are the Association of Real Estate Attorneys, State Bar Property Litigation Section and American and California Trial Lawyer Associations. He has previously served eight years as General Counsel to the Inland Empire West Board of Realtors.
