My son received a DUI of marijuana and I was devastated. I didn't know if I should get an attorney or court appointed attorney; was completely clueless. Mr. Murillo was very helpful from the beginning, I contacted several attorney's in the Inland Empire before contacting him the other attorney's were either to busy to call me back or they would put an employee form their office on the phone with me which was not very helpful . I was able to speak to ...Mr. Murillo over the phone free of charge, I explained the situation I was going through and he was able to explain the process and the fee's. Mr. Murillo took my case and did the best he could, he kept me informed every step of the way. I think that's what made me feel safe and comfortable, if I had a question I could email him and he would email me back as soon as he got the chance. This was my first time ever needing a lawyer, but it was good experience. Matthew was great, very knowledgeable on the issues with my case, always kept me informed whenever he received information, and best of all he pretty much handled everything for me; I nearly did nothing throughout the duration ...of the case. I hired Matthew Murillo without meeting him. Actually, I still haven't met him. I was looking for an attorney for my son, who was incarcerated in Connecticut, but needed an attorney in California. I read some of the reviews on Mr. Murillo and went to his website. I sent him an e-mail and waited t...o hear from him. I did not have to wait long. Much to my surprise he responded that evening. It was a 3 day holiday weekend and over that weekend we went back and forth with several e-mails. If you want an attorney who responds to your phone calls and e-mails, an attorney who cares and keeps you informed.....Then the attorney for you is Matthew Murillo. Prior to finding Matt, I had hired and fired 2 attorneys. They didn't do what they said they would, and they didn't return calls or e-mails, sometimes for weeks at a time.
