Biography
Award-winning San Diego criminal defense and civil rights attorney - named "Best of the Bar 2016" - by the San Diego Business Journal. Selected to the Rising Star list for 2016 and 2017 by Super Lawyers Magazine. Less than 2.5% of lawyers in the state are awarded such distinction. Nicholas J. Moore is an experienced and aggressive San Diego Criminal Defense and Civil Litigation Attorney.
Nick's practice is concentrated in the areas of: white collar criminal defense, criminal trials, and business and employment strategy and litigation. Mr. Moore began his legal career as a clerk under Paul Pfingst, the former District Attorney of San Diego. Much of Nicholas' early work involved multiple homicide trials and a high profile public corruption and bribery case. To date Nicholas has been trial counsel on over $7 million dollars of white collar criminal charges.
Nicholas is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, Class of 2006. Prior to practicing law school, Nicholas was a consultant to Fortune 500 companies at GSI Commerce Inc, an eCommerce company that was sold to eBay for $2.4 Billion.
Nicholas graduated from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he received the Jefferson Medal for Ethics and the WITKIN award for Professional Responsibility. Nicholas takes great pride in providing his clients the highest levels of transparency and candor.
