Biography
Angelica Sciencio is a California licensed attorney engaged in the general practice of the law with particular focus on immigration law. Before graduating magna cum laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2009, Angelica had worked many years as a paralegal for some of the most renowned immigration law firms in San Diego. As an attorney, she has represented hundreds of clients and helped them obtain the immigration benefit they sought.
While in law school, Angelica was placed on the Honor Roll and Distinguished Honor Roll during nearly every semester and was the recipient of the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence, the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and Jefferson Medal in several subjects including Legal Writing and Advanced Legal Research, among others. She also acted as a mentor to incoming students for the school’s academic success program.
Born and raised in Brazil, Angelica speaks her native Portuguese as well as Spanish. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, San Diego Bar Association, San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association and the Lawyer's Club of San Diego.
