Patrick John Phillips

Patrick DiFilippo (formerly Phillips) graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s degree in English. Patrick went on to attend law school at the University of San Diego, where he participated extensively in USD’s Special Education Legal Clinic, negotiating with school districts to obtain special education services for children with special needs. During law school, Patrick also interned with Judge Eddie C. Sturgeon of the San Diego Superior Court.

Patrick is licensed to practice law in California state and federal courts. He has significant experience handling personal injury matters ranging from wrongful death, premises liability, product liability, and auto accidents. Patrick is also deeply experienced in all aspects of California employment law. He routinely advises employers on wage and hour matters and complex compliance issues. He has successfully represented employees on wage claims, discrimination claims, contract disputes, and more.

Patrick has been selected multiple times as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star,” a designation reserved for the top 2.5% of California licensed attorneys under 40. He also maintains a 10 out of 10 rating with Avvo, a legal directory service that rates attorneys on the basis of experience, industry recognition, and professional conduct.

Patrick has full professional fluency in French and is conversational in Spanish and Russian. In his spare time, Patrick enjoys landscape photography and the outdoors.
