Helpful, Selfless, Top Lawyer

Although we ultimately won't be moving forward on my claim, I want to share my experience. I spent the better part of two weeks contacting so called labor lawyers who all tried to sign me to a retainer for them to be paid to send my employer a letter. These groups were less than scrupulous. Mr. La Co...ur is clearly a master of his occupation and was able to break down th law in very easy to understand terms. He was always available even when it was clear there was no financial gain for him. I wish there were more lawyers like him who would help otherseven when faced with a big employer. Now I have the tools to resolve my claim and will be filing with the EEOC. Thank you!

Went out of their way to give me options.

Consulted with this law firm not knowing what to expect but was thoroughly impressed. Jessica was fantastic and even though they couldn't take my case they gave me options and didn't treat me like garbage like some of the other firms I called who basically hung up on me. Jessica treated me like a per...son and was so kind and even offered to transfer me to her managing attorney. For that alone I highly recommend this group.

Blessing When We Needed It

Let me just state the obvious. This was a trying time. Like many of you reading this, I was at the mercy of my employer who wasn't paying me overtime but I put up with it because I needed a job. I was constantly threatened and then ultimately fired. When I reached out to Mr. LaCour I was angry but wa...nted justice. Let me say, I got justice fully. I was paid back every red cent I was owed. Mr. LaCour dragged them into court what seemed like on a monthly basis. The judge even got angry for not responding to our requests. I felt supported the entire way and while It took longer than what we expected I was ultimately paid a lot more than I even wanted. This was a blessing. The staff was always friendly and helpful and nice and accommodating. I hope that Mr LaCour is able to help you and you are in good hands if he does.

No breaks/forced to close without pay

This was my first job but I knew that I needed to get breaks and to be paid for even the time we spent closing the restaurant. I was recommended Jonathan by a friend and he was able to take on the case to help me and the others. I met with Jonathan at his office and he made me feel really comfortable.... I knew that he was an expert in his field. Jessica was very nice and always very helpful. Jasmine too. I really felt like he took my best interest to hear. I spent 3 years working under those conditions so the process for me was short.. 4 months. We filed a lawsuit. My employer gave up rather than fight and pay my attorney. This was because Mr. LaCour is so aggressive. His first letter was fire. They didn't want the smoke. :). Thank you for all of your help. The reviews are real. I'm living proof.

Caring and knowledgeable.

I consulted with Jonathan and he was very helpful. He gave me honest opinions about the potential direction my case could go and gave it to me straight so I would have realistic expectations. I really appreciated that. He even offered to explain some legal documents to me so I have a better understan...ding of the situation. He’s experienced and knows his stuff but also cares for the average person who may feel intimidated going against a corporate team. You can’t go wrong having someone like that on your side.
