I was falsely accused of two counts of Battery. I was arrested and spent a night in jail. I found Mike Kraut on AVVO.com and I contacted Mike because of his reviews. Mike gave me an appointment for a consult right away. When I met him I decided right away that he was the man for the job. He went to ...work right away and tried to talk the City Attorney's office out of filing charges. But they did file charges and my case was in "pre-trial" for 7 months. He personally went to all my court dates, gathered evidence, served subpoenas and prepared a great defense case. At the end of the of the 7 months of pre-trial court dates he presented my defense case to the City Attorney's office and demanded my case be dismissed. I had already been worrying about my case for 7 months at this point and it was taking a toll on my personal life and job. Despite the case Mike presented to them the City Attorney refused to drop my case so it was set for trial. My stress level was very high but I was confident that Mike was going to win so I continued to fight. On the 4th day of trial during the jury selection process, the City Attorney's office decided to dismiss the charges because of the mountain of evidence Mike had gathered. Also I think they dropped the case because of Mike's obvious overwhelming experience over the prosecutors. I would have been pleased with that result alone but Mike went the extra mile and filed a motion to find me factually innocent. It took another two full days of court but we won! Three things about Mike that you should be sure of is that his services are worth every penny, his experience is top notch and he will go the extra mile for you. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM. I was caught for Grand theft back in 2000 and had a public defender handle my case. Michael Kraut saved the day. My elementary age son was accused of assaulting a classmate. The only information I had was what the principal told me. The police arrested him at school and questioned him without any representation. My son was scared and didn't understand everything they asked.
