EXCELLENT!!!

Short sale expert!!!

Last year, I got word from my bank that they were going to adjust my mortgage rate on my second property. The were nearly doubling it for that year alone! Being I bought right before the down turn like everyone else I was hoping to ride it out and even started putting money into the property. I tried every option to work with the bank on my own. Everything you hear about banks giving you the run around and losing your information is TRUE! Being I was severally underwater on the property, I was at a loss as what I should do. I found Mrs Hurtik and couldn't have been happier! We decided the best option was to short sale the property. Mrs Hurtik dealt with the bank for me, so I stopped receiving the non stop phone calls and letters. We had some hiccup's during the sale with the buyers and Mrs Hurtik pushed through till we got it sold! Now my family and I can finally breathe. I highly recommend talking to Mrs Hurtik if you need help!

I was born in Michigan and went to Undergraduate School at Western Michigan University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Political Science and Criminal Justice.

Thereafter, I obtained my Masters Degree in Criminal Justice at Illinois State University.

I have a background in Real Estate and have held realestate licenses and appraisal licenses and was active as both a Realtor and Appraisor in the State of Illinois.

I graduated from Gonzaga Law School in the State of Washington and moved upon graduation to the State of Nevada and have practiced in the State of Nevada in both Federal and State Courts. I am also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit to practice law.

I have a diverse background and have represented many contractors in business litigation, as well as construction defect law suits. Additionally, I have practiced Bankruptcy Law in the State of Nevada since 1999 and Real Estate Law.

EXCELLENT!!!

Carrie and her staff are so nice, caring and professional. Filing a BK is a rough experience to go through but they worked really hard to make it as easy and painless as possible. I have a lot of respect for Carrie and would highly recommend her services to any of my friends or family. She is very good at what she does...without that typical arrogance you see so much of with other attorneys. I really like her!

Highly recommend

Best Time I Ever Invested

I have dealt for decades with corporate professional, business lawyers . This was a personal business issue. She provided great, thoughtful, honest answers, not aimed at creating more legal fees, but doing the best for the client. We spoke about my topic, and she guided me to a non-fee-intensive solution. Many lawyers would have guided me to something with a long-shot at being helpful to me, but more fees for them. We will be using her whenever we need legal help. She responded quickly to a request for a meeting, and was flexible on the time.

Impressive, Honest and Accurate

I highly recommend Carrie and the whole firm. It all starts with the consultation. Carrie's consultation was right to the point, and she was clearly knowledgeable of the family court system and was able to accurately diagnose and predict the outcome. Everyone in the firm returns emails and phone calls in a timely manner. What's more, I ended up paying less than my original retainer amount. That's a tribute to how efficient Carrie and her associates are, but they also didn't waste my time or money. I can't express how thankful I am that I found Carrie and Associates.

Professional & Responsive

A default judgement was entered against me and members of my family regarding a matter that took place almost seven years ago with my then minor child. We were wholly unaware of this judgement or the preceding legal maneuverings so we were completely caught off guard and I have to say a bit scared. The situation was rather involved and to compound matters I no longer live in the Las Vegas area. My first course of business was to find appropriate counsel in Las Vegas to simply provide guidance. Regrettably, every referral I had went virtually nowhere. I was in a bit of a panic, as a court mandated deadline was fast approaching. Fortunately, I had a referral to Hurtik Law & Associates and from the moment I made contact they were absolutely terrific. Carrie Hurtik and her team jumped in and quickly gave me the lay of the land (I’m a legal neophyte) and the guidance I and my family desperately needed. Although, my relationship with Hurtik was brief I can say they were well-versed, professional and responsive. I was fortunate in that my insurance carrier stepped in and is providing for our defense, but had they not I would have retained the Hurtik team without a moment’s hesitation.

Efficient Professionalism with Attentive Compassion

Carrie handled my case with efficient professionalism and with compassion. When I was deciding on a lawyer, I looked for somebody that I could relate to and who would understand how the case has affected me. I am glad I found that in Carrie. She had the knowledge and the skills to speak for my rights and to help me understand my options. She was attentive to my concerns and helped me focus on the important information. Responsive and Friendly

CARRIE HURTIK PROFESSIONAL LEGAL SERVICES

When we initially setup up a time and went to her office, apparently there was a mix-up with the time we were supposed to be there. One on way home, we had a call from the receptionist saying that Carrie really felt bad about that and immediately made time for that day. We had heard just how great her legal services were and sure enough we were not disappointed throughout the BK process. We have also been recommending her to all of our friends and neighbors accordingly.

Professional & Trustworthy

Bankruptcy Journey Chapter 13

It was the best decision we ever made to consult with Carrie Hurtik. She gave us good, solid advice. She gave us a plan, explain the consequences and benefits. Once agreed, she fought 8 months for our case like no other lawyer wood, to get the best payment structure for us. Her honesty persuaded us to make use of her firm for other legal services as well. Looking back, absolutely no regrets. Would definitely recommend her. Stay away from TV-ad lawyers.

Guided me thru
