(Note: to protect my privacy, I am posting this review under an account which doesn't reveal my real name) I retained Jacob's services after being charged with speeding and a DWAI in Jefferson County. While I was searching for an attorney to represent me, I interviewed about 10 firms, but ended up going with Jacob because he was the only one who gave me a no nonsense perspective on my case, looked up which judge was assigned to my case right away (the other attorneys all said that we wouldn't find out until later), and offered a fee structure that was tailored to my case, instead of the cookie-cutter "flat fee". Jacob was very responsive and professional throughout the entire process, and his fees were more than fair. I was always able to get a hold of him when I needed to, and he fully embraces the "paperless office", meaning that he's very good about keeping full digital records that are easily shared and collaborated on. For my particular case, Jacob wrote a motion to suppress the BAC breath test based on lack of probable cause for the roadside arrest, and the judge sustained it, which caused the prosecution to drop the DWAI charge. Because we wanted to seal the record on the case (which requires all charges to be dismissed/acquitted) and still had the speeding charge to deal with, we prepared for trial, and ended up getting that charge dismissed as well. Now that all charges were dismissed in their entirety, Jacob filed the necessary paperwork to get the record sealed, which was granted as well. Overall, this was the best possible outcome anybody could have hoped for, and I wouldn't hesitate to retain Jacob's services again in the future. I was charged with DUI in a small city just North of Denver last year. I was visiting from out of state. I spoke with 5 or 6 attorneys before I decided to hire Jake.
