Ann made a difficult time in my life much more manageable. She is an expert in her field. She got the best possible outcome for my DUI case in a VERY strict state (Colorado). She is also very down to earth and personable. If you're looking for the best, search no further. I highly recommend her for your DUI defense.

I have in my life rarely ever written a review. So you're searching for a DUI attorney huh? It's a scary time I am sure for you with so many unknowns and uncertainty of things to come. This was me. I searched the Internet and read many reviews about attorneys and then found Ann. A DUI is Colorado is no joke. Having the right attorney who knows the judges, knows the District Attorneys, knows the rules in general is exactly what you need and your best bet to get a fair sentence. Ann answered my questions in great detail, even on our first call without payment. She is always extremely quick to reply to emails and calls. She knows the system and knows exactly how to help you. She is very valuable and worth every dollar that attorneys cost. Don't worry reader, you will be ok. It's tough and a process, so make sure you choose the right attorney so you can get the best outcome.

Ann created a plan to make sure my career/professional life was as minimally impacted as possible. She is very knowledgeable about the legal system and therefore succeeds in working around obstacles or conditions that other lawyers don't have the time/desire to accommodate. Thanks very much for your efforts!

When I first met Ann Toney I was scared but Ann Toney discussed with me the terms and the outcomes and made it simple for me to make a decision. The outcome was much better then what I had hoped. Big thanks to Ann to making this happen.

Ann's commitment to getting the best result was apparent from our first conversation. She explained the process, available options, and potential outcomes in clear terms so that we could make informed decisions. Her recommendations about what we could do independently to influence and improve the final outcome of the case was spot on and helped to set the stage for a long-term, sustained personal recovery. We highly recommend her services.

I have used Ann Toney's services this year and I must say, she is on top of her game. I received what amounted to a slap on the wrist due to her knowledge of Colorado law and professional associations with Colorado criminal justice players. She is very attentative and responds to calls weekends and nights, this is unheard of in the law profession in my experience. She made me feel safe in the face of legal issues I was facing. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is having legal issues in any of the counties in Central Colorado.

When I was faced with a harrowing driving situation last year, I felt as if I were caught in undertow and alone without a clue as to how to pull myself back up and move on with life. There were costs, repercussions, and worse, huge dings on my driving record that would affect me for years to come. I immediately began contacting attorneys and spoke with six or seven after doing plenty of homework on them all. As soon as I spoke with Ms. Toney, I knew she was my top choice. Even over the phone, she was warm, grounded, compassionate, and extremely well-versed in DUI case management and law.
Over the course of almost 8 months (my hearing was delayed), Ms. Toney and I were in constant contact. Now, even though my case is complete (and somehow—I have no idea how—my sentence was lighter than Ms. Toney and I both had imagined possible), I am still in touch with her and she is still advising me as to how to complete the community service and other court requirements that were part of my sentence.
I highly recommend Ms. Toney. If you are willing to complete each step of the process thoroughly and in a timely manner, you will find that Ms. Toney will keep up with you and advise you every step of the way. I never, once I began to work with her, felt lost or afraid of future consequences. She is solid and trustworthy, and she treated me with respect and compassion from start to finish.

My case was very complicated from the get-go with too many problems to list. I was given a ticket for DUI and careless driving. This was the first time I'd ever gotten in trouble with the law enforcement. I am good at doing research and interviewed several attorneys. I was comfortable with Ann from the first telephone conversation we had. She is a true professional that knows how the DMV and court system works. Ann kept me informed and aware of all possibilities that might occur at every step in the process. It is way too complicated of a system for a subpar/inexperienced attorney to take on. She is doing this line of work because she truly cares about what happens to the clients she represents. My case went on for several months because there were doubts in my case and I wanted to fight to not have a DUI/DWAI charge on my record for life. Ann stuck with me and continued to fight for my justice. When all was said and done the charges were reduced to a misdemeanor traffic charge. There were no unexpected fees; and worth every penny (which is extremely reasonable for the service you get from her).. Anyone who is looking for a reputable honest attorney would do themselves a huge injustice to not try and get Ann to represent you. Thank you Ann from the bottom of my heart!

I came across Ann online and left her aid with a message. She personally responded promptly and provided me with the help I needed and the ease of mind I wanted. This is a lawyer that can be trusted to care about your case and reclaim the justice for the people!

I was charged with my 1st DUI and had no idea what to do or whom to contact. I did a simple google search for DUI attorneys, and Ann was the 3rd one I contacted. The first two were very matter of fact and impersonal, but Ann was quite different. She seemed to care more about my situation and I got the impression she was more genuine in her desire to help me. I went with my gut instinct and hired her.
My case was very cut and dried in many respects, simply guilty as charged. I didn't give her a lot to work with other than my own reputation, both personally and professionally. In addition to that, I was facing complications with my career in that I was being requested to move out of the country for an assignment, not good timing....
Ann was able to help guide me in the right directions using her experience with both the DA and the Judge (not to mention her sidebar discussions with them) to help facilitate an inevitable sentence that worked well for both the people and the defendant. Ann stayed with me through the multiple court dates, and helped me arrange them (and the associated necessary delays to make them fit in with my professional schedule).
I was always well informed and she was always available to answer any questions I had.
The steps I followed from Ann led me to winning my DMV hearing (in my case) so I hadn't lost my license by the time I was sentenced.
At my sentencing was the time for reckoning. Ann had advised me of certain steps I needed to take in advance of the sentencing, of which I followed precisely. At the time that we faced the judge, he was already aware of my international assignment for work, along with all of my extracurricular activities that we had advised him of. We were prepared for the standard sentence of 10 days in jail, plus any probation terms. The Judge offered 20 days of in home detention, of which we declined due to my work schedule overseas, we told him we would take the 10 days of jail instead.
The judge countered that offer with 2 days of jail, plus 8 days of in home detention. We were both surprised, particularly when he waived a lot of the court fees and placed me on unsupervised probation.
I purposely do not reveal too many details of this case, because each is different, and I would not like people to think that your case would be the same as mine.
The main point is that Ann helped me make a connection with both the DA and the Judge that helped me attain a conviction that did not destroy my career. This connection was a demonstration of my ability to prove to them that I was being proactive in this case and showing them the side of me that Ann had advised.
Again, I was guilty as charged, but Ann Toney helped me to mitigate the situation as much as possible.
I was always aware of what was going on, and she was always in the courtroom when I arrived. She always understood how the DA and the Judge were thinking through her experience. Above all, she spent the time to know and understand the specific laws and clauses that impacted my case, she even stumped the judge once.
I hope you have the same luck with Ann that I did. My experience was very positive!
