Ms. Woods was really nice in our initial meeting. She took the time to listen and we agreed to a plan and pricing. She was 1/3rd the price of others which was a red flag but I liked her and with some research, my case should have been open and shut, whether in my favor or not. She really got to kn...ow my case and was somewhat effective. Although, she couldn't do the procedural basics. She didn't request DMV transcripts properly. She didn't serve the DA appropriately. She cost me months and months of time (and almost got may case dismissed with incompetence). SHE WENT DARK ONCE WHILE APPROACHING A CRITICAL DEADLINE AND THEN, FINALLY WENT DARK FOREVER. I still have no clue what happened to her MID CASE, she received half payment and went dark when I texted for her to meet and get the rest of the money. She simply never called back. AVOID, only because she may simply disappear one day with your $ and stop providing agreed to services.

I actually hired Ms. Woods back in 2013 and she was not amazing in my case, but she took the time to connect with me on a female to female, daughter to daughter, woman to woman level and made me feel comforted, supported and like she could relate during an extremely difficult and scary time in my lif...e. In fact, I'm back to inquire of her as to another matter all these years later. Highly recommended!

Dismaying ignorance, rudeness and inability to accept blame or admit the truth. I was stopped for a traffic violation. I refused to be tested for alcohol. I later recanted my refusal while being booked, but the officer refused to test me. This recant would have guaranteed a dismissal of my case. I a...sked ms woods if there was an audio recording of my recant, she said no, I asked her to confirm that belief, she said she would. I told her to preserve recording anyway for other reasons, she said she would. She failed to check her false belief and she failed to preserve the recording thus allowing arresting officer to successfully perjure himself and leading to my conviction for dwai because of the absence of that recording. Now she is denying this truthful account making my appeal more problematic. Rude, unprofessional, incompetent, ignorant, negligent and challenged by the truth.

Ms. Woods has been a wonderful attorney. She has represented me in a DUI case thoroughly and clearly has experience in this field. She is the sole attorney at her practice and you speak with only her (no assistants, receptionists, etc). She answered my call on New Years Day as I had been arrested for... a DUI on NYE. She immediately discussed my case with me and set up a time for me to meet her at her office. Since she works alone she is not always immediately available, but she is always very informed when we speak and knows exactly what is going on in my case. She got a very reasonable plea offer for me due to the circumstances around my case and made things very clear for me. She was always realistic regarding the issues and problems that we were facing and did not make me believe we would get more than what was actually possible. I would definitely recommend her to others going through similar issues.
