They are extremely knowledgeable and were very patient in breaking down every question I had regarding my tenant/landlord dispute. I was in a bit of a time bind as my landlord wanted me out in three days, but the office saw me immediately the day I called and gave me some great resources and reassura...nce. They are incredibly kind and definitely a defender of the people!! They even called to follow up today and see if everything was okay with my living situation once I got home. I was fighting to get my ex property management company to return our deposit and provide a move out statement. I was getting nowhere by myself 80 days after the lease was over. After a call with April (where i was admittedly a bit panicked) she calmed me down and gave me clear instructions on how to... go about bringing the case to small claims court. I followed her suggestions (that she gave me for free), and am happy to report that once i sent out a demand letter the property management company finally decided to cooperate and sort out the mess. I cannot thank Ms. Jones enough for her help regarding a dispute between me and grey star management. It was a unique case where an individual took over my lease and ended up not paying what was romoses to pay. Ms. Jones was prompt and worked quickly to assist me as my specific case involved an evict...ion. Ms. Jones advised me of proper forms and how to respond to the court. Ms. Jones saved me from taking more time off work and answered all my questions. Ms. Jones made me feel heard and after meeting with her I felt relieved from start to finish. We were told by our landlord to leave the house because he vintended to sell it at the very end of our lease. He gave us a 30 day lease extension, at a much higher cost. Then filed for eviction. My wife is Handicapped, and I over Ms Jones spent the time to get all the details to guarantee us an exte...ntion in court. Very compassionate, very reasonable, and instructed us on how to save money by doing some of the paper leg work in court ourselves. April Letitia Jones is the best example of a lawyer making the system just in what is a predatory rental market in Colorado. where the courts clearly favor the owner.
