I will soon start my 27th year practicing law in the wonderful State of Colorado. I have spent all of those years in our courtrooms, travelling across the state to fight for clients in personal injury and family law (divorce and post-divorce) matters. I work as an adjunct professor at both of Colorado's law schools, and I travel around the nation teaching advocates how to stand up before judges and juries and "do it" the right way. There is very little that I have not encountered in the legal world, so if you need help dealing with anything, feel free to track me down to see if I can either steer you in the right direction or offer a bit more.
When seeking legal counsel, "fit" matters. You need to make sure you have comfort and security working with your lawyer. I know that when people need attorneys, the circumstances usually aren't the best. At my firm, we work hard to meet your needs and give you the guidance in challenging times. While we can never promise you a result, we can promise to do evereything we can to deliver the outcome you seek! We also promise that before we ever agree to work with you, that the "fit" is there for your sake and ours.
Chances are whatever you are facing in our justice system, we have seen it in our practice. Give us a call if you think we can help!

Great guy excellent attorrney.
I consulted with Dan about a difficult family matter regarding my daughter who is living in another state. I just needed to get an opinion about what had already transpired and what my options were moving forward. Dan knew I wasn't going to hire retain him because my case was in a different state but...

Compassionate Counsel
When I finally made the decision to leave my husband of 13 years, I was so worried about the impact on my six and eight year old boys. I talked to friends and co-workers and it seemed like everyone had a story about a divorce gone bad. I put together a list of attorneys to interview and was halfway...

Just a great lawyer!
In 2012, I started down a road that promised to be incredibly difficult and emotional. I was in a battle against my ex and our children were at the center of the dispute. I sat down with Dan and others in his firm and knew from the word go, I was in the right place. Dan helped me develop a great ga...

Top Notch!
Both Dan and Laura have represented me over the last 6 years. They have both proven to be brilliant and powerful attorneys, while at the same time showing compassion and genuine concern for my situation. Through my divorce and as a mother fighting for her child, I was extremely anxious. They showed m...
"Dan is the most talented trial attorney I have ever seen. His ability to dissect and synthesize legal and factual issues into a story the audience can comprehend is unparalleled. Dan is also a master of the the rules of evidence; there is no evidentiary situation I have seen where he was stumped. Not only is Dan a top-notch trial attorney, he is highly skilled at problem solving-- a skill not every attorney possesses. If there is a way to resolve an issue without engaging the Court, Dan will spot the issue and articulate it to counsel and the parties in a way that makes sense. If you are looking for an experienced family law attorney, Dan is your guy."
"Dan Deasy is an extraordinarily gifted trial attorney. His God-given skills, tremendous intellect and deep concern for his clients make him a truly elite lawyer. Those who need counsel for family law matters would be very fortunate to have Dan Deasy on their side."
"Dan's understanding of everything that goes into a family law practice is second to none. His ability to stand up in court and argue a case to a judge is truly exceptional. It is because of his trial skills that Dan is able to secure outstanding settlements for his clients without a trial; opposing lawyers know it's is a risky endeavor going to court against Dan. If someone I care about needs representation in a family law matter, I send them to Dan Deasy."
"Dan is an exceptional trial attorney who tirelessly fights for his clients. He cares greatly about each individual's case and works tirelessly to ensure the best possible outcome. I often refer work to Dan and his excellent firm. I highly recommend Dan."
"I endorse this lawyer. He is an asset to the AVVO legal community and provides excellent responses to legal questions. This can only be attributed to his knowledge, experience, and success as a practicing attorney."
"I've been to several continuing education events instructed by Mr. Deasy and he is very professional and knowledgeable. These courses have contributed to my own ability to practice in great effect. I highly recommend him as an attorney."
"Mr. Deasy is a very knowledgeable and skilled attorney, and a client would be well served with him as their lawyer. I endorse him."
"I endorse Mr. Deasy. Having read many of his postings on Avvo, I can say that Mr. Deasy provides sound and practical legal answers to the questions posed. You expect most lawyers to provide sound advice, but providing practical advice is just as important, especially in the area of family law where "what you can do" and "what you should do," may be two entirely different things. I endorse this lawyer."
"I endorse this lawyer. I am from the same state as Mr. Deasy and he consistently gives good practical advice to clients in various disciplines of law. A pleasure to have in the community."
"I endorse this lawyer for his knowledge of Personal Injury Law and his substantial contribution to the Avvo community."
"I fully endorse Dan Deasy. It is clear from reading his answers to multiple questions on Avvo that he has an extremely deep knowledge of the law, particularly in personal injury."
"Dan Deasy is an exceptional lawyer with a pristine reputation. I highly recommend his services in the Greater Denver area."
"It is clear from Daniel's client and peer reviews in Colorado that he is doing fantastic work that is helping to shape to the lives of those who are lucky enough to have retained his services. Likewise, his attention to detail and desire to help others is apparent when you see the time he dedicates to answering questions on Avvo for the benefit of those not only in his jurisdiction but in others as well. I endorse this attorney."
"You'd be hard pressed to come across a lawyer with more skill and integrity in the Denver area than Dan Deasy. His reputation in the community precedes him, for good reason."
