also known as Paul E. Turner, Jr.
I am a personal injury and criminal lawyer who has been practicing law since 1988. Unlike most Virginia personal injury lawyers, I only charge a 25% contingency fee in personal injury and accident cases, rather than the 1/3 (or more) fee usually charged. The personal injury cases I handle include auto accidents, motorcycle accidents, semi-tractor/trailer accidents, injury by a drunk driver, intentional injury, slip-and-falls, dog bites, defective or unsafe products, premises liabilty, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, general negligence claims, and others.
I graduated from Nova Southeastern University (then Nova University) in Florida on February 22, 1988, receiving a Juris Doctor Degree. Prior to law school, I was a paralegal for several years. Since law school, I have tried many, many personal injury and criminal cases of all sorts and have extensive experience as a trial lawyer. I also handle appeals, when necessary, and have prevailed on appeals in the Virginia Supreme Court and the Virginia Court of Appeals.
The criminal cases I handle range from the most serious (such as murder) to minor traffic infractions (such as improper lane change), and essentially everything in between. And, my fees in those cases, I believe, are very reasonable.
I am also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Eastern District of Virginia, and the United States Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit.
If you need an experienced personal injury or criminal lawyer, or if you need to file an appeal, please give me a call.

Didn't have a prayer without a good lawyer.
Most public defenders want you to plead guilty. I went to court in York County with the hopes of possibly just a reduction in the charges against me. Instead, Mr. Turner got a not guilty verdict and "ALL" the charges against me dropped. I was truly amazed. The reason why they were dropped was due t...
