Outstanding counsel for professional license defense.
I hired Tim for a very stressful case of professional license defense. From our first communication, his ability to lay out what I should expect during the process and what I could do to most positively impact my case's outcome put me at ease during a time of immense uncertainty and fear. It also proved to be spot-on. His experience with this area of law was very obvious and gave me confidence that I had made the right choice. I also found him to be personable, encouraging, straightforward, and always available for any questions or concerns I had. The process lasted 9 long months and Tim was with me every step of the way, providing useful insight and advice at every turn. His expertise ultimately led us to an exceptionally successful outcome. I could not be more grateful to Tim for his high level of professionalism, hard work, and commitment to helping me defend my license. I would hire him again in an instant if the need arose.

The Attorney who Healthcare Licensing Attorneys Call
I have worked against, with, and consulted with Tim for nearly a decade. Tim uses his specialized knowledge, responsiveness, and collaborative style approach, to effectuate successful outcomes for his Texas Medical Board clients, as well as other healthcare licensee clients. Tim possesses the rare combination of having a client-centric practice, with a results-centric focus. His diligence, experience, and practicality, is why so many attorneys consult and refer to him.

TMB complaint
I had a a false TMB complaint. He knew the "ins and outs " of the response and it was quickly dismissed one week after the response was entered. I am extremely pleased with the service Tim Weitz provided. He is professional and efficient. I highly recommend him.

Excellent, compassionate attorney .
I recently used the services of Timothy Weitz for an administrative law issue and I felt very comfortable with him from the beginning. This was the first time I had to deal with an issue requiring the advise and intervention of an attorney; Timothy made me feel safe and guided me through the process with professionalism and compassion, leading to a satisfactory resolution. Highly recommended.

A truly outstanding attorney who is one of the best in the business.
I have just concluded my legal case with Mr. Weitz as my representation, and I could not be more pleased nor can I say enough great things about him. He knows his stuff inside and out, he is very cunning and smart, and I felt like my representation was the best I could've ever asked for, unequivocally. He defended me against a frivolous accusation which he got dismissed in record time. I would highly recommend him, especially in the arena of Healthcare.

Texas Board of Nursing FNP
I was falsely accused of prescribing testosterone to myself while working in a busy primary care office. The DEA had an unannounced visit to a pharmacy which I prescribed testosterone frequently by phone. Also, I was receiving low dose testosterone for myself from my provider in the same office. The DEA found two documented orders with my name as the prescriber and as the patient. Because Timothy was extremely meticulous gathering information, he was able to prove multiple errors were from the pharmacy. In the end he won my case and it was dismissed in nine months. During this time Timothy was prompt with communication and explained what was happening. I highly recommend his expertise in handling any case with the Texas Board of Nursing. He has the skills and experience that protected my license.

Outstanding Service
I was falsely accused of violating the Behavior Analyst's code of ethics by a disgruntled parent and Tim Weitz did an outstanding job of handling my case. The field of Behavior Analysis is still relatively new and Tim went above and beyond to understand our code of ethics to be able to support me in my case. He helped me develop an exceptional narrative that eloquently and professionally described how this parents claims were undoubtedly false. When the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation took over 2 years to close the case due to a mistake on their end, Tim continued to push for answers and a closure to my case. He even took the time to help me submit the appropriate paperwork to apply for my Behavior Analyst recertification, when reporting the incident was required for approval. I cannot recommend Tim Weitz enough for your health care litigation needs!

Excellent Attorney
I was faced with a TMB complaint that was patently false. Tim guided me through the entire process of formulating and submitting a response and was very accessible to me at all times. Because we were able to effectively and thoroughly show that the complaint had no merit, it was dismissed with no further action within 2 weeks.

Great Lawyer!
With over four decades of practice experience, full licensure in two other states, and an unblemished record, I was faced with technical licensing delays and possibly expensive and time-consuming additional requirements to become licensed in Texas. Mr. Weitz was able to quickly navigate the process, successfully appeal the TMB staff recommendation to the Licensure Committee, and help me efficiently get licensed without the anticipated delays or added costs. Prepared, practical, and professional. Accessible and responsive. Very pleased with representation and outcome. His assistance made a real difference. Enthusiastically recommend him.

TMB Licensure Issues
I consulted with Mr. Weitz regarding a Texas Medical Board physician licensure application. He is extremely knowledgeable about TMB policies, procedures, and personnel. Throughout the process, he was prompt with communication and available for concerns as they arose. Aside from his legal advice, which is nuanced and exceptional, he has an empathetic yet direct style that took much of the anxiety and ambiguity out of the situation. I cannot recommend him enough, wish I had talked with him earlier in the process, and will consult with him for any medical-legal issues that may arise in the future. He's an all-around fantastic lawyer and human being.

Mr. Weitz effectively handled my case with the Texas Medical Board. He has deep experience with medical licensure law and with the process involved with these cases. He took a very personal interest and went above and beyond in making sure my case was successful and that I was well-informed every step of the way. I highly recommend him!

Expert, professional, and connected
Mr. Weitz represented me in a TMB complaint and was fantastic. He was prompt, responsive, and very directive throughout the process. He was very compassionate and understanding of the stress such procedures can generate, and di an excellent job explaining to me what to expect next. Great outcome, even better attorney.

Top-Notch, Prompt, Timely, Efficient, Professional, Gets Results!
If you have a Medical Licensure issue, Mr. Weitz is your attorney. Period. Do not pass "Go", do not call anyone else. He took me on after another well-respected attorney let my case lie mostly fallow and ultimately orphaned it. We had the desired outcome in less than 6 months. Mr. Weitz is everything you could ask for in an attorney - he has a job to do, and he does it. He communicates promptly, is a wonderful advisor, does not make false or exaggerated promises, he just gets down to brass tacks and gets you what you need. My biggest regret is that I didn't know about him from the start. I'd hire him every day of the year for a medical licensure issue. Can not recommend any more enthusiastically!

Tim was so efficient that the complaint was quickly dismissed and closed. He is outstanding . I'd recommend him to anybody.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter
"Tim and I were opposing counsels on numerous occasions. I have nothing but the utmost respect for him as a litigator and as a person. As knowledgeable a defense attorney for Texas Medical Board matters as there is, what truly distinguishes Tim from his peers is the unparalleled passion he utilizes in fighting for his clients’ licenses. Whenever I need a consultation on a Medical Board matter, Tim is the first call I make. His thoroughness and attention to detail translate into favorable decisions for his clients. Tim is one of the few administrative law attorneys who practices the full range of healthcare license defense: from informal settlement conferences, to trying cases at SOAH, to even district court reviews of final agency orders. Finally, as a fellow Judge Advocate, I can attest to Tim’s professionalism resonating throughout the Boardroom and Courtroom."

"Tim Weitz is nothing short of an outstanding attorney. I think and have thought for years he was a tireless advocate for his clients. He is selective. He cares. He is intelligent. He knows the law, rules, but also the unwritten policies of the Board, which is critical to know if you want the best possible outcome. He works hard to maintain a reputation for honesty, fair dealing, and as someone who gives all of himself to the cause or challenge in front of him. Tim is respected by other attorneys, by government officials, by Board members, and the medical community. Personally, I learned a tremendous amount about the law and how to conduct myself as a lawyer by watching and learning from Tim. I think he is the best in the business."
