Best Lawyer and Firm Experience
Highest recommendation for Louis Leichter. I am a physician that had a horrific, complex situation that threatened my career. Louis was brilliant, caring, and strong, fighting for what was right and working tirelessly to help resolve the situation. His entire firm was invested and supported me through the entire process. Would trust him with my life and recommend him to everyone

LOUIS LEICTER PA
TOP LAWYER IN HEALTH CARE . REACHED OUT TO FIRM TREATED LIKE I WAS THERE ONLY CLEINT, WHEN I ASKED HIM TO ASSIST IN A CASE THAT WOULD HAVE RUINED ME IF FOUND GUILTY. HE JOINED THE CASE WITHOUT QUESTION AND STAYED WITH IT TO ITS CONCLUSION. THE CASE WAS DISMISSED. AN AWSOME LAWYER AND NOW FRIEND FOR LIFE.

Great person for counsel advice in practice matters
Louis has worked for me fo over 10 years. He has helped me with three TMB complaints that I won through his excellent guidance. After a recent employee issue that was causing me extreme stress, office manager, walked off the job, he answered my call at 6 PM on a Friday. He invited me over to his home to hang out right then and there because he understood I needed some emotional support. I have been at his home before over a previous stressful issue, my divorce after 22 years. Smarted person I know. Thinks extremely well on his feet during the moment. You will create a lifetime relationship with this man. Specifically, I do not utilize my medical practice carrier and use him self pay because that is how strongly I feel about him

A true honorable lawyer
Mr. Leichter represented me in front of the TMB (the most unreasonable and arrogant group of ppl). It was honestly a assassin case which should not have even gone as far as it did. He took my case very personally and convinced me to fight till the end even when i wanted to give up. He is a very busy man but he always found time to call me back and offer me great advice from a professional and personal perspective. I have consulted/worked with many lawyers over my lifetime for various reasons and I have to say Mr. Leichter is the best in his profession. He is very knowledgeable, experienced and takes your case very personally. He is worth every penny he charges.

Highly recommend!
I contacted Louis via an online request through his website, and within minutes I received a phone call fom him (this was on a Saturday, no less!). I had been struggling by myself with a veterinary board case and decided it was time for a lawyer. I am so thankful I went with Louis and his team! He worked with my unusual situation, and was able to get my case dismissed very quickly! I never would have been able to do that on my own, and wish I would have found him much sooner. I highly recommend Louis Leichter and his team!

Hire Louis if you have licensing issues!
I hired Louis for some licensing issues with the Texas Medical Board. He spent the day before my hearing from literally 3:30 pm to 11 pm just preparing me. He and his associate attorney, Darrin prepped me for every possible scenario. The hearing went just as expected and it was smooth sailing. He knew exactly what questions they would ask. Plus, while I was there waiting for my turn, 2 separate attorneys approached him for advice which is a testament to his abilities. There was even a FORMER client of his there who was unrepresented and Louis went in the hearing with him. When I queried him, he simply said, "It was the right thing to do." Louis is frank, friendly, and down to earth. High Praises. K.S., MD

Security Clearance Hearing
Louis Leichter represented me at a security clearance hearing. Preparation was first rate! More importantly, Mr. Leichter controlled the atmosphere in the court room, keeping it positive. Mr. Leichter presented my personal history in such a way, when he was finished, I wanted to meet the person he was talking about - me! Hopefully I'll never face any kind of litigation again, but if I do, the Leichter Law Firm will be my go-to counsel.

Licensing and the Texas Medical Board
On our initial conversation, Mr. Leichter demonstrated significant knowledge about the physician training process (residency, fellowship, etc) as well as experienence dealing with the Texas Medical Board regarding licensing issues. Initially, the board asked for a range of documents and explanations relating to a criminal arrest that occurred several years earlier, however, I doubted the validity of several of the explanations/documents they asked for. I contacted Mr. Leichter regarding my license application and he acted very quickly (within 3 business days) and prepared a document to the board outlining and highlighting why several of the requests were not valid. The board responded and the request for several of the documents was withdrawn. He further responded to my emails very quickly and sent several letters on my behalf to the board pressing them to process my application in timely manner as there had been significant time lost due to their requests . Overall, I was very satisfied with the job he did, and was extremely happy I used his services. I would certainly recommend him to another physician who was experiencing licensing problems with the Texas Medical Board.

Excellent Lawyer
Louis represented me in front of the Texas Board of Law Examiners. Louis got me licensed and I am now an attorney in Texas. Louis did an excellent job and stayed positive throughout the entire ordeal. Louis is well liked and has relationships with staff attorneys at the Texas BLE. I would recommend Louis to anyone in the same circumstances I was in.

Louis Leichter
Louis is a pit bull when it comes to results for his clients. He also has a keen understanding of the area of law in which he practices.

Heartily endorse with NO reservations!
I am a physician client who had significant complex board-related issues. After a miserable experiece with a less experienced attorney out of Houston, Mr Liechter counseled me & represented my interests at a level that exceeded and continues to exceed my expectations. He has taken a personal interest in me, his fees have been most reasonable and he has been highly professional. His knowledge base, judgment and experience are impressive, as is his understanding of the arcane mechanics of this branch of administrative law. My encounters withthe Board make it obvious that he is respected by the powers-that-be and in fact is more relied on as a resource than an adversary. I am aware of in excess of a dozen colleagues that have had similarly positive experiences with Mr. Leichter. I am aware of issues he had with his own Board which, presumably account for his rating on this site. He has been candid about this history and there is no doubt in my mind that it only contributes to hie effectiveness and insight.

Highest recommendation regarding Louis Leichter
A client-attorney relationship is a two-way street based on 1) the nature of the client's case including the client's willingness to be honest, 2) the ability and willingness of the attorney, and 3) the sum mutual respect and compassion borne from the above two conditions which develops over time. I am fortunate that when I needed representation I found Louis by recommendation from a number of different physicians in the Houston area where I live and practice. I am also fortunate that I did not need to win a case. Not only did Louis help me professionally and emotionally through a difficult Board investigation and agreed order, he to this day (now two years later) continues to counsel me both professionally and as a friend. It is important to add that Pinkie Henderson, his paralegal and right hand (wo) man is always kind, calm and patient. She not only relays messages and documents promptly, she listens and absorbs the fears that a client may on occasion transmit over the phone. After all your attorney sometimes has other clients and other cases which require his presence at other equally important hearings and trials. We are lucky to have the choice of the Leichter Law Firm.

A review of Louis Leichter as my attorney
Mr. Leichter is an excellent attorney. I don't think there is a better lawyer when it comes to dealing with the Texas Board of Medical Examiners. I am very satisfied with the results of the litigation and feel that he is easy to work with and has a great personality. He is a great lawyer.

This man is a great lawyer, I do not understand the rating.
This man was always professional and courteous. He was only a gentelman and won my case.

Highly recommend
Mr. Leichter was recommended to me by someone I trust in late 06 for criminal defense & maintainence of professional licensure. His advice was sound & he saw my case through to non-disclosure in mid 09. I have retained his services again [2010] in a lesser case concerning ethics & professional responsibility, and so far I am pleased with his advice; although, the results, are slower than anticipated, I believe this is mainly due to the other party [a large hospital] having this case low on their priority list. I was aware of Mr. Leichter's past. Rather than disouraging me, I felt that Mr. Leichter had: 1) completely rectified any past mistakes and, 2) that his past along with the focus of his practice [support for medical professionals], uniquely suited him to understand my situation and needs.

Unprofessional
I had used Louis on a prior occasion for license defense that ended favorably. Unfortunately I returned to him for a new issue that he completely bungled due to unprofessional conduct. He was going through personal problems and when I needed him the most, he did not show up. Besides his tendency to make wild promises that he never keeps, his inability to act as a professional has cost me dearly.
