Excellent services

I hired Tim to represent me before the Texas Medical Board regarding a complaint from out of state. From the very beginning, Tim was absolutely amazing to work with—responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive in communicating with both me and the board. Thanks to his expert handling of the situation, th...e case was ultimately dismissed. I chose to hire Tim privately instead of using an insurance-appointed attorney, and it turned out to be the best investment I could have made to protect my name and medical license. His dedication and professionalism exceeded all expectations. What truly stood out was when Tim offered to be available to speak with my spouse if he had any concerns or questions. It spoke volumes about Tim’s thoughtfulness and commitment to transparency and trust. To my fellow physicians: don’t hesitate—secure Tim’s services. You won’t regret it.

TMB Case - Dismissed!

I was contacted by the TMB that a case had been opened against me. I was fairly distraught as I felt like I had taken care of this patient to the best of my ability and had certainly followed the standard of care. I had lost sleep over this, and was quite anxious as I had no idea what to expect, as t...his was the first time anything like this had happened to me. I had the great fortune of getting in touch with Tim through a physician friend of mine, and almost instantly, all of my concerns and worries were immediately gone. He took his time to talk to me (even during his vacation), fully explained the process, and was truly a breath of fresh air. He was very clear on what supporting documents were needed, and was always available when I had a question. He made dealing with this case and the TMB very manageable and I am forever grateful for his guidance through a difficult professional period of my life. I could not think more highly of him and would highly recommend his legal services to any physician that finds themselves in a similar situation as I did. Thank you, Tim!

TMB Board Complaint-Case Dismissed

Extremely grateful I came across Tim’s profile and despite his busy schedule, he immediately took my case. Was an extremely stressful thing to deal with, Tim was so kind and took me through the process step by step, with reassurances along the way. His vast knowledge and experience with the medical b...oard is unmatched compared to others. You should look no further if you need a lawyer for anything related to the Texas Medical Board- if I could give him 1 million stars I would!! Tim is absolutely the best and now I can rest assured as the case has been dismissed thanks to his hard work!!

Excellent, compassionate attorney .

I recently used the services of Timothy Weitz for an administrative law issue and I felt very comfortable with him from the beginning. This was the first time I had to deal with an issue requiring the advise and intervention of an attorney; Timothy made me feel safe and guided me through the process ...with professionalism and compassion, leading to a satisfactory resolution. Highly recommended.

TMB Licensure Issues

I consulted with Mr. Weitz regarding a Texas Medical Board physician licensure application. He is extremely knowledgeable about TMB policies, procedures, and personnel. Throughout the process, he was prompt with communication and available for concerns as they arose. Aside from his legal advice, w...hich is nuanced and exceptional, he has an empathetic yet direct style that took much of the anxiety and ambiguity out of the situation. I cannot recommend him enough, wish I had talked with him earlier in the process, and will consult with him for any medical-legal issues that may arise in the future. He's an all-around fantastic lawyer and human being.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"Tim and I were opposing counsels on numerous occasions. I have nothing but the utmost respect for him as a litigator and as a person. As knowledgeable a defense attorney for Texas Medical Board matters as there is, what truly distinguishes Tim from his peers is the unparalleled passion he utilizes in fighting for his clients’ licenses. Whenever I need a consultation on a Medical Board matter, Tim is the first call I make. His thoroughness and attention to detail translate into favorable decisions for his clients. Tim is one of the few administrative law attorneys who practices the full range of healthcare license defense: from informal settlement conferences, to trying cases at SOAH, to even district court reviews of final agency orders. Finally, as a fellow Judge Advocate, I can attest to Tim’s professionalism resonating throughout the Boardroom and Courtroom."

Relationship: Co-worker

"Tim Weitz is nothing short of an outstanding attorney. I think and have thought for years he was a tireless advocate for his clients. He is selective. He cares. He is intelligent. He knows the law, rules, but also the unwritten policies of the Board, which is critical to know if you want the best possible outcome. He works hard to maintain a reputation for honesty, fair dealing, and as someone who gives all of himself to the cause or challenge in front of him. Tim is respected by other attorneys, by government officials, by Board members, and the medical community. Personally, I learned a tremendous amount about the law and how to conduct myself as a lawyer by watching and learning from Tim. I think he is the best in the business."
