James Gary Sullivan

James Sullivan is an awesome lawyer. Last year he defended me in a felony theft case. I decided to go with Sullivan because he has the best attributes and great testimonies of people that he helped. My case was not an easy one since I got caught shoplifting more than 2K at a Macys store with a friend.... The charge that I got was a felony and I thought that my life was completely ruined. I had just turned 19 when the incident happened and I was a straight A student in high school. I went online and found all the good reviews about Sullivan and decided to hire him. The case was a tricky one because my friend was also charged with a felony and hired a separate lawyer so I figured he was going to try to blame it all on me even though we both did the crime. I had bought a device online that let us remove security tags so we figured we could just grab a bunch of expensive polo shirts, remove the tags in the changing room and then walk out the door with them. The next month the prosecutor did approve them but he also told us it was a rare result and not to let him down because we were only the 3rd and 4th persons to get this deal in his district court. Last week, I finished the contract. James Sullivan came to court to make sure that the prosecutor dismissed our cases. My friend’s lawyer didn’t even show up. In two years I will call Sullivan to get the felony record expunged. I just finished my first year in college with an A average and I cannot imagine what my life would be like if I had a felony conviction, so I thank James Sullivan for working hard to get me the pre-trial intervention and thus giving me a new opportunity in life.

My husband Richard Longtine was involved in an unfortunate and violent altercation in the home while our four year old daughter was nearby. James Sullivan is the best defense attorney in Houston. He saved my life 3 different times. At age 17 I was busted for possession of marihuana and my mother hired him to defend me. I was guilty, but Mr. Sullivan got my case reduced to a class C misdemeanor with deferred adjudication. Two years later ...I got arrested for assault. After talking with all the witnesses and looking at the State’s evidence, he did just that. About two weeks later the grand jury dismissed it and I got my life back! Thanks Mr. Sullivan. I cannot even imagine how different my life would be if you had not represented me. You always encouraged me to stop living the crazy life, get on the right path and finish my education. I finally did, and I am now studying in college. I owe it all to you. You made a huge difference in my life, and for that I will always be grateful.
