Child Support Issues
I was slammed with a child support payment I couldn't afford. I went to Mr. Lane's office, and after working with him, he managed to get my payments down to something I could afford. Mr. Lane and his staff worked hard to keep me informed every step of the way. It was refreshing knowing my situation w...

Unbelieveable!
Mr. Lane represented us in 2012 in modifying child support and enforcing visitation. Twice during the course of him representing us we had filled out the grievance form with the TX state bar and ended up changing our minds because we couldn't afford to hire another attorney. We understood that Mr. L...
Family law cases are never easy. In this particular case, the client lives out of state and the former spouse is an incredibly anger person who fired her attorney and refused to agree or cooperate with any aspect of the case. Multiple hearings had to take place that normally wouldn't be necessary. The client's signed a hourly fee agreement that clearly sets out the financial obligation of the client. The case was handled with expertise and professionalism. The real issue is the client just doesn't like paying for services rendered. Our detailed records show dozens of returned calls and text to the client. In this case, the client had Mark Lane's personal cell phone number and returned dozen of text messages and emails to the client. As in many family law cases, the non possessory parent is ordered to pay child support. Many father's are not ever happy when they have to pay. However, it is the moral and legal obligation that counts. With over 3500 cases successfully handled in 15 years of law practice , we are proud of how we handled our clients and respectfully disagree with this client.

Overwhelmed by how good this attorney was to me.
Above and beyond my expectations. I had already been through one horrible experience with a BAD attorney in Fort Worth. Mark Lane was patient, informative and very honest with me. He let me know right up front what I was up against and there were no easy answers to my situation. My divorce was awf...

inadequate representation
This attorney was good to start with, very proactive and seemed to be working for me. When a situation with my job forced me to relocate this firm not only stopped communicating with me and would not return a phone call but stopped providing updated case information and legal advice about how to pro...
I know who this particular client is. The facts are completely incorrect. This client's case was properly handled at all times and the client was communicated as to the status of his case as needed. In this particular case, a conflict of interest occurred in regards to his spouse's case. Thus, requiring my withdrawal is required. Actually, I was disappointed that I had to withdraw. Many times in family law, clients are not satisfied with any result. I have represented over 3500 clients in 15 years and only have a few negative comments. It is unforunate that all sides could not work out a solution in the best interest of the child. -Mark Lane
