I hired Jeff after becoming frustrated with my previous attorney, and I am so glad I did. Due to my ex-wife’s false allegations of family violence, I had not seen my children in over 12 months and my previous attorney suggested that the situation was hopeless and that I should simply give up the idea... of spending anytime with my kids. That was not then nor ever something I would accept. I needed a change, someone who would listen to me but yet help me understand the process and the realistic part of divorce. Once I hired Jeff, he got the wheels turning immediately and assured me that the situation was not hopeless at all. That as painful as it was to deal with alienation and lies being told to my kid’s patients would prevail. First, he won an enforcement hearing and got the judge to order my wife not to contact my employer, making my wife and her attorney taste defeat for the first time. Shortly thereafter, we had a two day trial and Jeff not only succeeded in showing the judge that the allegations of violence were false, but he won the trial, got me unsupervised access to my son’s and even got the judge to order reimbursement from my ex-wife for the money she made me waste on plane tickets during this terrible ordeal. Jeff is very knowledgeable, as well as being detailed and prepared. Even though a divorce trial is stressful, it was still enjoyable to see Jeff objecting to my ex-wife’s lawyer’s evidence and arguments. He seemed to be operating in a higher gear than my ex-wife’s attorney. I could spend all day saying how impressed I am with Jeff and how I recommend him to anyone going through a family law battle, but instead I’ll say this: I’ve come to consider him more than just an attorney –he is now will also be my friend. Divorce is ugly, no matter which way you look at it. I would say that my divorce was not only ugly but war; it was more than a Jerry Springer episode, it probably was more like a season or two. But it was never about getting back at that person or even. For me and Jeff it was about the kids. All that is important is your kids. Jeff helped me with getting back to what is most important, the kids.
