Rachel Ambler received her Juris Doctorate degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law where she graduated cum laude. She is a member of The John M. Harlan Society and Phi Delta Phi. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History, summa cum laude, from The University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
While in law school, Ms. Ambler was on the St. Mary’s Law Journal. Ms. Ambler served internships in both the civil and criminal divisions of the U.S. Attorney’s Office. She was a summer clerk for the Hon. Robert Junell, United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. While in law school, she clerked for a prestigious civil and bankruptcy litigation firm in San Antonio.
Ms. Ambler has authored several magazine articles and published two law journal articles. She co-authored a comprehensive legal textbook on Texas Community Property and Marital Law.
Ms. Ambler is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and admitted to practice before the Federal Courts of the Western District of Texas and the Northern District of Texas. She is a Member of the American Bar Association, Texas Bar Association, the Midland County Bar Association, the Ector Country Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association.
