Felony drop to misdemeanor probation

I was investigated in 2015 by the federal government for a charge of False Statement to Obtain Federal Employee's Compensation. Jim Burnham fought hard on my behalf until I was offered the best possible outcome. I didn't go to jail, and Jim's vast knowledge of the legal system got my offense reduced ...from a felony to a misdemeanor. My understanding is that such a result in cases like mine is incredibly rare. Jim Burnham is a wonderful attorney and I couldn't be happier with the result that he obtained for me.

Not just a great attorney but a great person.

I was facing the prospect of having my felony probation revoked and being sent to the penitentiary. The judge had set no bond in my case. Before I hired Jim, I spoke to another lawyer who told me that there was nothing he could do. I was told that my case was hopeless, my probation would be revoke...d, and I would be sent to prison. Luckily, I was referred to Jim Burnham. Jim worked long hours calling multiple offices in both states on a daily basis, in addition to communicating with me and my family. Jim kept my probation from being revoked, and his tenacious representation resulted in my release, an outcome that the first lawyer didn’t believe was possible.

Amazing!!

During the fall of 2015, my stepdaughter’s mother accused me of hitting my step daughter, and I was accused of injury to a child. This claim was completely false, and I was distraught by the entire situation. This accusation not only affected my family, but it could have destroyed my career. I hired... Jim Burnham to represent me, and my case was sent to the grand jury. Jim Burnham made a phenomenal presentation on my behalf, which explained to the grand jurors why I was innocent. The grand jury no-billed the case after reading Jim Burnham’s presentation, and my case was dismissed. Jim Burnham stood by me throughout this stressful process, and I am grateful that I hired Jim Burnham. He’s a great lawyer.

Not just a lawyer, but a friend

Mr. Burnham will not only fight for you like no one else, but he understands the stress his clients go through. Unlike most lawyers, he tells you things black and white; he won't sugarcoat things. His demeanor is such that he is an advocate for you and is there for you as a lawyer and a friend.

Best Attorney ever!

Jim Burnham represented me when I was charged with a DWI. The first attorney that I hired filed a Motion To Suppress, but the judge denied his motion. Then I hired Jim Burnham and he filed a Motion To Suppress and the judge granted his motion. Because of Jim Burnham’s successful Motion To Suppress... my DWI case was dismissed. I had been involved in an accident and taken to the hospital where they proceeded to draw my blood without my permission to test for alcohol. Jim Burnham worked tirelessly to get my case dismissed. Jim Burnham was always available to answer my calls, and I always felt that he had my best interest in mind the whole time. This was a hard and stressful time in my life, and Jim made sure that I did not have to spend time worrying about my legal case. I have never regretted my decision to hire Jim Burnham as my attorney, and if anyone I know ever needs a lawyer, he is the first person I would recommend.
