TOP TIER

Jim Burnham blows every other lawyer out of the water. He's smarter and sharper than any attorney I've ever known. Thank God I found Jim. I was charged with possession of a controlled substance , a felony . Thanks to his determination mixed with his compassion for me as a hard working mom , he worke...d tirelessly to get my case dismissed and eventually expunged. He literally saved my life and my reputation. There is no one better than Jim. I am beyond grateful I found him, and will sing his praises until i die. Best Lawyer Ever. Super Lawyer

He was fantastic. He handled the case way above my expectations. He got me probation. I would recommend him highly for criminal matter whether its state or at the federal level.

Burnham is an AMAZING lawyer

Mr Burnham is an amazing lawyer. I was accused by my previous employer, which was a fairly large public company, of embezzlement/grand theft in the ballpark of almost half a million dollars. I was terrified. Thanks to Jim, I was NEVER arrested, NEVER charged, NEVER called by a police officer and avoi...ded prosecution altogether. His advice and counsel was sound and correct every time. I estimate he put in 300+ hours on my case, so I was lucky that he charged a flat fee. I received an update every day and he never made me feel like he was not on my side. His reputation alone opened so many doors for my case and allowed us to settle without any legal fuss. We worked out a payment plan that was incredible – I could actually afford it. If you are facing charges, you need a lawyer. Don’t risk jail time or being pulled away from your family. With lawyers, you get what you pay for. What I paid for got me an honest, HARD WORKING, INCREDIBLE lawyer. Do not settle for cheap. Do you research on Mr. Burnham, then HIRE HIM. My case was in Dallas county.

Felony drop to misdemeanor probation

I was investigated in 2015 by the federal government for a charge of False Statement to Obtain Federal Employee's Compensation. Jim Burnham fought hard on my behalf until I was offered the best possible outcome. I didn't go to jail, and Jim's vast knowledge of the legal system got my offense reduced ...from a felony to a misdemeanor. My understanding is that such a result in cases like mine is incredibly rare. Jim Burnham is a wonderful attorney and I couldn't be happier with the result that he obtained for me.

My Federal Jury Trial in Dallas County

When you are faced with Federal charges and need a qualified first rate lawyer it is most important to hire a true professional that has a proven track record for discovery, negotiation and trial. I was fortunate to have Jim Burnham represent me in my personal jury trial. The seven (7) Federal cha...rges against me were count 1 conspiracy to Commit Bank Fraud, False Statements and Bank Fraud; count 2 through 6- False Statement; count 7 Bank Fraud and that all 7 counts were NOT GUILTY. Mr. Burnham did an outstanding job in each step of the judicial process.
