Robert B. Abtahi is the founding partner of Texas Defenders, a Texas criminal defense law firm devoted exclusively to defending individuals accused of criminal offenses. He has built his practice on providing strategic, client-focused representation while helping people navigate the criminal justice system with confidence and clarity.
Before founding Texas Defenders, Mr. Abtahi served as a Dallas Prosecutor, where he worked closely with law enforcement agencies, city officials, and the courts. His experience as a former prosecutor on the government side of the legal system provides valuable insight into how criminal cases are investigated, evaluated, and resolved.
Today, Mr. Abtahi represents clients facing criminal charges throughout North Texas. Under his leadership, Texas Defenders focuses exclusively on criminal defense, handling matters ranging from misdemeanors to serious felony offenses. He replied right away and solved all my contract needs.
I got the sense that he is available almost all of the time. Even though it was after hours he was the only lawyer that replied to me right away (it was probably 9pm local time for him). Worked on a complex local tax issue that turned out in my favor
Mr. Abtahi worked on a local property tax issue for me and in the end I was awarded a refund of previous years property taxes. He was in constant contact, fought for me every step of the way, and kept my best interests at the forefront at all times.
