Biography
David Payma heads the firm’s criminal defense practice. He is a trusted and dedicated criminal defense attorney practicing in counties all throughout Texas. He has successfully handled hundreds of criminal cases and has years of experience helping clients protect their criminal record. His commitment to defending his clients, coupled with his knowledge of the law, are part of the reason he has been able to effectively secure dismissals for clients in Dallas County, Collin County, Tarrant County, Denton County, and several other counties throughout Texas. David recognizes the difficulties associated with every case and works tirelessly to try and reach the best possible outcome for each of his clients. He understands that every case is unique and that every client is facing different circumstances. David was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and decided to stay close to his roots when he went to college. He earned his undergraduate degree from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. After graduating college, he worked in the City of Dallas Mayor and Council office for almost a year before heading to law school. His dedication to the public sector during his time at the Mayor and Council Office earned David the President’s Gold Volunteer award for dedication to public service. In 2014, David graduated with his Juris Doctorate degree from Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth. While in law school, David clerked for the Texas Attorney General’s Office and private law firms. After graduation, he worked for multiple law firms that specialized in criminal defense, personal injury, and general litigation.
David is a firm believer that the client comes first and makes a point to regularly communicate with each client from start to finish on his or her case. His knowledge and experience of the law enable him to understand the complexities of each case and he understands that having a criminal case can be a difficult period of time for his clients. Great Attorney!

Small Claims Matter
This lawyer worked on a frivolous lawsuit I got from small claims court. I am a small business owner and someone claimed a rock from one of my trucks caused damage to their vehicle. They filed a case against me and didn't even send the lawsuit to my correct address so I was facing a default judgment....
