Robert B. Abtahi is the founding partner of Texas Defenders, a Texas criminal defense law firm devoted exclusively to defending individuals accused of criminal offenses. He has built his practice on providing strategic, client-focused representation while helping people navigate the criminal justice system with confidence and clarity.
Before founding Texas Defenders, Mr. Abtahi served as a Dallas Prosecutor, where he worked closely with law enforcement agencies, city officials, and the courts. His experience as a former prosecutor on the government side of the legal system provides valuable insight into how criminal cases are investigated, evaluated, and resolved.
Today, Mr. Abtahi represents clients facing criminal charges throughout North Texas. Under his leadership, Texas Defenders focuses exclusively on criminal defense, handling matters ranging from misdemeanors to serious felony offenses. The firm's practice includes DWI and intoxication offenses, assault and family violence allegations, drug crimes, theft and property offenses, weapons charges, probation violations, juvenile matters, expunctions, orders of nondisclosure, and other criminal defense matters.
