I contacted Jeremy to handle my DWI charge, which was the first time I’d ever been arrested. I had no idea what to expect. I spoke with several lawyers, and from the beginning he was much more open and honest with me about what to expect, potential costs, was up front about the facts of my case, and was much more willing to spend the time to answer my questions. I spoke to a couple that were cheaper, but I could tell they were in a rush to get on to the next case, where Jeremy gave me his full undivided attention.
I chose to hire him over the others for several reasons, and that’s a decision I never regretted. He explained every step of the process, several times, because let’s face it, I was nervous and didn’t always listen to his answers. He was always happy to do so. He explained that sometimes DWI cases take a long time to resolve and that he would keep me up to date with every important detail; he also explained that I could contact him at any time to go over the case, which I did do on occasion.
When it came time to resolve my case, he fully explained the pros and cons to every option, and he helped me make the best decision. He worked hard during what he called the pre-trial phase, in exhausting all evenues, and the end result was a reduced charge. Even after having it all explained to me several times, I can’t say I fully understand what happened or how he was able to get this done, but I’m just thankful that I made the right decision to trust him to handle my case. He did an excellent job taking care of me in one of the worst situations I have ever been in. At our first meeting, he told me not to worry, and that I was in good hands. I can’t say I followed the first part, but he was certainly right on the second.
To anyone who is considering hiring Jeremy, some advice, trust him. Do exactly what he says, and like he told me, although he cannot guarantee any particular outcome, rest assured, he will do everything he can to get the best outcome possible.
