As I got older and started getting into more serious troubl...e Cody was there to catch me when I fell every time. This very skilled very experienced attorney has gotten me out of a world of hurt and a rather lengthy prison sentence. He has changed a state law over a warrant that was written for my arrest and got the charges dropped. He’s has gotten class y felonies dropped to petty misdemeanors and he help me to beat over a dozen felony charges in 3 different counties all pending at one time with barely a scratch on my public record and not a hint of doubt in his demeanor through the whole thing. I would recommend Cody for anyone for anything anywhere as a lawyer who can get the impossible done.

When I came to the conclusion that I had to hire an attorney even though It wasn’t warranted because I did not do what I was accused of, considering the circumstances and accusations, I had to LAWYER UP. I researched every attorney that might be good decent in my specific circumstances. From the... preliminary research Cody Dowden stood out from the crowd because of his great experience, track record, and most importantly the ability to understand the district attorney’s process, viewpoint, and what they are thinking because he spent many years in their shoes when he worked for the DA. So I decided to retain Cody. Prices for his services were accurate with everyone in town. Though if you hire another firm you will most likely pay for someone very junior and not get the type of attorney you could have with Cody Dowden. Once retained we set up a game plan and followed it exactly. Bottom line when you hire Cody you will need to let go, though you want to be involved as much as possible, He KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING, LET HIM DO HIS THING as he knows how things will likely shake out. When I would call Cody with questions or concerns...no matter what he got back with me in a day! We ended up having to go to trial. So my fate was up in the air! Performance in court-There is a different between Paper Law and Trial Law. If there is a chance you might have to go to trial you better be sure your attorney can perform. Cody Dowden owned the court room. From opening statement, cross examinations, to concluding statements it was clear that I had the best attorney in the room and Cody showed the right level of aggressiveness when needed but was also respectful to the court as well. End of the day the good guys won. It is not fun having to retain an attorney but if you have to hire one hire Cody Dowden.

Cody was an excellent lawyer, and helped my fiancé fight his case outstandingly. Background knowledge- My fiancé and I are 18 and 19 years old. When my fiancé got into his legal trouble we had no clue what to do. He had gotten charged with 2 Class Y felonys, and we were at a loss of what path t...o take to find the correct lawyer. We didn't have tons of money, so we hired the cheapest we could find for his case. This turned out to be not such a great idea. Kelly fought with his prior lawyer for a year and a half, and almost took a plea for 8 years in prision. This didn't set right in my head, so I did some last minute hunting online to find out we had hired a real estate lawyer, which as most could tell would not be the best to fight a criminal case. A week before the last court date, we hired Cody- and fired his other lawyer. Cody did more work in a two months time span than the other lawyer did in a whole year. Cody worked great with payments, even when my fiancé had payed him late a couple times. Cody got his sentance from 8 years in prision switched to 3 months in Benton county with 6 years of probation. Before Kelly had felt like his life was over, but when Cody came along he felt reassured that he still had a lot of life left to live after he did his time. We cannot thank Cody enough for how well he worked his case in 2 months, (very last minute), and how well he did the job! We will always use Cody for any legal issue we have, and recommend him tremendously to anyone.

I hired Cody after consulting with another firm whom left me feeling pretty hopeless but had no problem charging me a pretty penny. Cody sat down with me and my wife and explained everything, the positives and the negatives and strategies of what he would do depending on the prosecutors moves. He ...was always available should I have any questions. Cody handled my "Battery in the 3rd" hearing very professionally bringing the facts to life and extinguished any false testimony turning my case around in his closing argument and getting the results we had hoped for.
