Edward Albert Gilkerson

Ed, came by high recommendation of one of his past colleagues, to help me establish a solid estate plan for my growing family. His approach was very simple and communication effective in translating legal impacts of the planning process to best meet my personal needs. I'd highly recommend for anyon...e else who is considering needs to ensure their assets have a long range plan intact. Ed, was also very flexible in helping me get this done in the midst of a hectic work schedule...he made himself available as needed to maintain good forward progress to completion.

Ed handled my initial divorce, and a few years later, handled my case again when there was an attempt to modify the custody and support settlement. Through the course of three pre-trial conferences, he kept me informed and gave excellent counsel. At the end of the third conference, we attempted to ma...ke a settlement offer, which was denied. We ended up going to trial. I wasn't all that excited it went so far, though that was due to the other involved party and not Ed. When we got to court, Ed was extremely prepared. We had so much information available for the judge to review, significantly moreso than the other party. And when it came to questioning the involved parties, I felt Ed did an excellent job of getting to the point, asking the most important and relevant questions. The judge found completely in our favor, and I know that had everything to do with how well prepared Ed was, and how he presented all the information in court. I would highly recommend Ed.
