Practice areas
  1. Alimony
    25%
Missouri law allows one divorcing spouse to request maintenance payments, known as alimony, from the other. Courts don't award maintenance automatically, nor do they award it solely based on gender; what matters is the spouses' relative incomes. Divorced people in Missouri can get maintenance payments if a judge believes they can't support themselves through employment or property, including any marital property they will receive in the divorce. Call Tonya D. Page today at 866-620-5757.

  2. Child custody
    25%
The state of Missouri is legally required to decide child custody matters based on the best interests of the children. There are two different and coexisting types of child custody: physical custody and legal custody. Child custody is the crucial area of disagreement in many divorces, and often the most contentious. f you need help and information in a child custody matter, call the law office of Tonya D. Page today at 866-620-5757.

  3. Child support
    25%
Child support goes hand-in-hand with child custody as one of the most contentious issues in a divorce involving kids. Because the state of Missouri has a specific formula that determines how much child support parents can afford, even parents who can agree on an amount may need help submitting their plan to a judge. Experienced divorce attorney Tonya D. Page can help clients ensure that nothing is left out, and make their best case to a judge. For more information, please call 866-620-5757.

  4. Divorce and separation
    25%
Missouri allows no-fault divorces, which means you don't need to prove infidelity or mistreatment to end your marriage. However, Missouri divorce law also allows you to cite a fault; this could affect how child custody and other divorce-related matters are decided. Grounds for fault-based divorce in Missouri are: Adultery; Incompatibility or unreasonable behavior; Abandonment for at least six months; Living apart by mutual consent for at least one year; Living apart for two years or more.

Tonya D. Page, principal attorney at St. Louis law firm Page Law, practices exclusively in the area of Missouri family law and domestic relations.

"Helping families transition through this often difficult period is an important part of my role as a family law attorney," says Page. "As both an advocate and counselor, I work hard on behalf of my clients to ensure that their legal rights are protected."

Highly recommend
I know several people who have used Tonya and have been extremely impressed with their results. There are only 2 family law attorneys in St. Louis who I would refer my personal friends to and Tonya is one of those two.

Multifaceted Divorce
Tonya Page , is forthright upfront. Honest trying not to waste your time or funds in unnecessary litigation . In a over 2 yr process I always felt confident Tonya was fighting for my best interest and to bring closure. On several occasions she went above and beyond , always managing to be heard in court or to the Judge. In a difficult lengthy and multifaceted divorce she was knowledgeable and sought out any advice needed. Tonyas and her teams aggressive pursuit helped in maintaining my career my home and way of life . I will gladly recommend Page law for any legal process from the simplest to unimaginable

Tonya Page is first class attorney. She is worth every penny she charges. She is a seasoned divorce attorney that knows when to plays hard ball and when to be diplomatic. By being this away she gets the results you want with our running up fees. I would recommend her to anyone who wants an attorney that earns/deserves her money and gets the results you expect! Well versed in mechanics but not effective advocate
I engaged Tonya after having to transfer counsel from a collaborative practice attorney when the respondent chose a litigator. Things started out well, but concern increased as my assigned attorney, Ms. Khofeld, had trouble grasping the core financial issue and did not seem comfortable stating a strong position to opposing counsel. Repeated settlement proposals from Page Law progressively eroded my position and gave ground to opposing counsel and when Tonya became personally involved I did not see the direction turn around. We were going to give yet more ground in hopes that we could settle. I lost confidence in counsel and transferred again. I would not be critical of Page Law but for the behavior of my third attorney, who aggressively represented our case, halted further appeasement and presented a settlement proposal with term far more favorable to my position, effectively pulling back 5-6 individual offers made in prior settlement proposals. Of course opposing counsel accused us of reneging, but since they chose not to sign anything, we were under no commitment. When respondent was deposed opposing attorney knew that her case was very tenuous and we settled on grounds quite favorable to my position. That never would have happened had I continued with Page Law. To be fair to Page Law they certainly know the mechanics of the process, but I have strong reservations regarding their advocacy and ability to push a position. My situation was very simple with limited property and no children. Maybe it was too simple and not within their practice scope. I really can think of no other reason why they would take so long, and accumulate such a billable hour count, to achieve nothing whereas the third counsel got a signed settlement in one fourth the time and one fourth the billable hours. Admittedly he had the benefit of the documentation Page Law accrued, but in turn Page Law had the benefit of documentation the collaborative process counsel accrued. We had to throw away Page Law's proposals and state a new one. We did not back down from the core tenets and settled.
