Biography
I have enjoyed more than thirty years of representing individuals and small businesses, in a variety of contexts, after finishing my first career as an NFL quarterback with the Chiefs and others. My experience includes handling contested family law matters (throughout the St. Louis Metro Area), business litigation of many types, along with common sense advice for business leaders in various contexts. Along the way, I have been recognized by Best Lawyers in America and by Law and Politics as a Missouri-Kansas Super Lawyer. Extensive experience in business litigation sets me apart from other attorneys, as it gives me familiarity with complicated financial issues, including valuation of stock in closely-held businesses, real estate partnerships, trusts, and interests in retirement and stock option plans.
